"Dammit to hell! That's the third horse this week!"

Pay kicked the grass with the toe of her boot. Throwing down her Kryss she let out a string of cuss words that lasted a good five minutes. Ilshenar had been a blast, except for the whole machines killing their horses. He'd helped her, not that she would admit it. And the piss of it was, that she owed him now. "Condescending bastard." Running a hand through her cropped black hair she thought about Sylvan's other half. He'd been patient, even when she copped an attitude, which was the whole time. With a heavy sigh she stopped at the Umbra Necromancer shop and had them take a letter for her.

"Look Mister,

Ya didn't get in my way all that much. So if ya ever need a huntin' partner drop me a line. I'm goin back to the camp ya took me too. See if I can't get some answers on where the hell I belong.

Paytience"

After it had been written she folded it up and took it the house Sylvan had told her to use for runes and that he had said belonged to his Aunt.

Smiling at the thought of Paytience drafting such a letter, Arahim turned the paper over and wrote.

Paytience,

If you can stand the company, and bear staying in one place for more than an hour, bed down at the camp for the night. The area you are in is especially beautiful at nights. Sylvan, and I lived there for nearly a year when Christopher was just born.

I will come see you tonight, or tomorrow morning.

-Arahim

With that, Arahim folded the letter carefully, and handed it off to a young nephew who had come to water Aunt Merrique's plants.

"If you see this to the camp at Compassion, and to the hand of one of us who looks like she'd rather be elsewhere, I'll owe you favor."

Hastily scrawled and then completely blacked out and rewritten a letter waits for Arahim.

"Arahim,

These people keep looking at my funny and there are whispers. I ain't gonna be no secret or some damn charity case. Oh and they keep mentioning you. This is creepy. Oh and that trick with your hands and the thing, really good. I'm gettin' better at it.

Anyway, I want to hunt. You know where I am and I could use a backup.

Pay"

Pay,

Don't mind the whispers, don't mind the looks. Our people -love- when they find anyone with the Blood whom they thought lost, or just didn't know about. So long as you're being treated well...

Hunting is always on the table, you have only to let me know. Tonight, however, I'd like you to come out and meet someone. I will come pick you up.
