|
A missive materializes before its intended recipient, taking form as a simple parchment written in flowing script . . .
Señor Le'Morte,
I have been made aware of your desire to retain protection for certain objects of precious containment. Being that I am a member of the clan with whom you spoke in this regard my interest is extremely piqued. As you can see by the manner in which this message was delivered into your hands, my skills may well be a means of great mutual benefit to the end you seek.
Let us meet and discuss possible arrangements.
Awaiting your reply,
Ancyous Enriqe de Vaile

A Fledgling Vampire enters the Quarters of Lucian and places a sealed envelope on the desk, Lucian looks to the messenger...
"My Lord this just arrived for you."
Lucian picks the envelope and examines it, noticing the seal of the Gypsies on the back. Lucian opens the envelope and reads the message contained inside.
Looking to the Fledgling Messenger, Lucian says... "I need for you to take this letter that I write back to the Gypsies and travel only at night."
The Fledgling replies "Yes Master."
Lucian sits at his desk and grabs an old piece of parchment and begins to write...
My Lord Ancyous Enriqe de Vaile,
I have sent one of my clansmen in person to give you this letter of importance, The Cargo has arrived in Cove, by ship and was taken to an undisclosed location in which I am the only person who knows where. As Agreed upon, the money will be paid on the first of each month in the sum of three million gold pieces to protect during the daytime, the cargo which was specified in the meeting. We look forward to meeting with you, in which we can seal the arrangement. I would like to meet in Cove over this comming weekend, anytime in which would suit you, and take you to the secret location where the cargo is. Please keep this a secret, and if anyone tries to disturb the cargo, feel free to use any means nessassary to protect what is inside. Any attempts to disturb the cargo and the success of defending that cargo will result in a bonus of five hundred Thousand gold per attempt. Thank you for your hospitality and we look forward to a long and mutually benificial accord!
Yours Truly,
Lucian Le'Morte
Lucian Seals the Parchment inside the envelope and seals it with the letters V|O and hands the envelope to the messenger, he bows and leaves the room. Very content, Lucian sits at his desk and ponders the events that will unfold in the comming nights.
Lucian awaits a response.... _________________ No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country.

Ancyous lay the ancient parchment aside with intense satisfaction. Taking up a quill he penned his reply . . .
Señor Lucian,
This weekend in Cove suits me well. I need only the exact day, time and location.
Until then,
Ancyous
With a touch the gypsy's message quickly vanished, soon to appear in the vampire's hand. |

The Messenger arrives in Lucians Chamber laying the Envelope onto his Masters desk...
"My Lord, this has just arrived for you"
Lucian looks up at the messenger and notices the seal on the envelope and smiles as he opens it.
Lucian then grabs an old Parchment and begins to write.
My Lord Ancyous Enriqe de Vaile,
I am very greatful you have decided to meet us in Cove. Now that I feel I can trust you a bit more, in the last letter I had to decieve you a bit, just in case the message was intercepted. I am sorry for not being honest with you, but it was for the safty of the Cargo. The Cargo has not yet arrived on these shores but will be arriving in Cove at exactly 7:30pm Central standard time on Saturday. We would like to meet you at that time on the Cove docks to gather the crates and take them to a safe location of our choosing. I hope you understand the safty precautions but they are put in place not only for our safty but for yours as well. Till then, we wish you and your company safe travels into Cove.
Yours Truly,
Lucian Le'Morte
Lucian puts the parchment into an envelope and then seals the envelope with the seal V|Oand hands it to the Messenger.
Lucian then says "Make haste with this and do not stop until it reaches the hands of the gypsies"
The Messenger takes the envelope and bows before his master and says "I shall not fail you my Master" and then leaves Lucians Quarters.
Lucian sits at his desk and thinks to himself "With all these matters in motion, I hope we are making the right decision, I hope the Gypsies will be true to their word. We put so much into their hands that I hope they can handle what is to come......I Hope." _________________ No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country.
