Unity sat at his tavern and just pondered a bit.

As Unity sat he had a few bottles of wine this eve and was quite disgruntled with recient news of Anna being missing for amny weeks now. As he drank his fifth bottle of wine he went downstairs to the basement where his personal meditating room is located.

Unity sat aside his castle lit alter and stared into the bringht, vibrant flame that arose flickering amongst the near walls. He sat and just drifted into thought.. Deep thought.

Many hours past when Unity came to, hearing footsteps outside and all around in the tavern he was startled. Unity was not expecting any company this evening and as he thought he rememberd he was supposed to even be out of town this weekend, Unity quickly gathered his thought and went upstairs. When he got to the top floor again there was nothing, noone. Unity thought a bit "Am I losing my mind?" he questioned himself aloud into the darkness quietly as he returned to his basement he shook his head franticly. He looked about at the portrates on the walls int he room, one of himself, one of his wife Sue Michelle, and one of the Dark General Anna.

Unity muttered a bit and went into thought of the past, thoughts of the many Yew wars that were faught, the many wars and the old now tarnished paperwork and land deeds of the past long forgotten now, he clenched his fists tighter the more the thought as blood driped from his palms to the floor Unity fell again to his knees with one lone tear streaming down his cheek and then dripping from his chin to the floor.

Unity again shook his head and as he wiped his cheek smearing blood across his cheek he looked closer into the eyes of Anna in the portrate apon the wall gazing deep he thought of the art of technomancy that seemed to of fallen forgotten by many men, thoughts of Dealthagar, himself, and Anna giving the last orders to attack and then he looked back across to the portrate of himself and his wife and reemmebred once standing the proud Baron and Baroness of a long forgotten teritory once commanded by himself with an army of fierce men. Now he was the Guild Master himself of The Dark Awakening! and he was feeling defeated.

Unity laid his head to the floor at a point of the alter where he knelt and seemebly went limp falling into a vast trance.
When Unity awoke he had thoughts racing about his head, he knew it was time. He went to seek out Dealthagar to discuess his newly found discovery.

A sudden pain gripped her heart as she felt a deep loss. Anna dropped to her knees as tears streamed down her face… droplets of deep red blood began to drip from her finger. She felt as if half of her had just died.

Deep within… deep in the pit of her dark soul a birth began to take place… an awakening that had been hidden for hundreds of years…not since the time before her marriage to Lord Grimrick did such rise within the vampire…The Dark General… Mistress of Darkness… did such rise forth and erupted into an orgasmic seduction of evil. Anna embraced it. She kissed it… she made love to it. It… him…all that was Dark she gave unto marriage.

Rising up she took out her ancient rune book crafted by Dayel Stormcrow and opened it to the page that had the marking locations of the one place in the entire realm she could always find peace. She parted her soft lips and with a few arcane words she was where she knew peace would be hers.

She took out an old tome of ancient rituals, the one she had used when her and Smogg had beheaded the Sages of HoA as a smirk kissed her lips from the memory of jackdeaths head on a ritual plate.

“Those were the days…”She spoke with found memories. “ Now it seems that even those most close to you sew webs of decent into their lustful hearts. So be it…if that is what you want my love… that is what you shall get. You wanted me to wake, you begged me to awake…now, Dealthagar, you shall see just how –awake- I can be.”

She set up a small table…. A ritual plate… an old dagger…and began what was to be … a time of an Awakening the likes the Realm had never seen before…into a small bowl she poured pure Elven blood… a touch of ash… a tad of…. Dragon’s blood… a lock of golden hair and chanted: “ Xhy… Rhu… Rise up little one…. RISE UP … I COMMAND YE! YX! XHY! Embrace the darkness!”

Thus it began…and the words traveled on the winds to Unity... " Anna is coming home....let the games begin."

Dealthagar sat in the Poet's Garden as the owl swooped in and dropped a pair of scrolls in his lap. He read the first from Anna. Unsure of what she spoke of, he would have to seek her out. The second was a note from Unity, with a single sentence. "We must speak."

"Is something wrong love?" Lilyth noticed the dark look growing on his face.

"I will return. It appears the Awakening has need of me."

"Go. I will see you soon enough." She blew Dealthagar a kiss as he recalled, reappearing in front of the old castle. It was the third time in as many days he had stood in front of it.

As he looked at the gates, his eyes lingered on the scars the castle bore from its days as the base of operations for the most fearsome army to have ever walked in Trammel. The sound of battle rang in his ears, the smell of ozone, blood and iron in his nostrils. Covered by a few years of ivy growth, the blood runes on the front of the castle still marred the stone. He had put that curse on the castle during the days Grimrick still ruled this castle.

A sharp pain, like a fiery dagger shot through Dealthagar’s heart. Grimrick. Dealthagar had taken his woman, his castle and his lands. Yet the memory and hatred of the Lord of the House of Grim still cut him to the bone. No matter what Dealthagar did, the specter of Grimrick’s return hung over his head.

“Virtue loving bastard….” They never understood the concepts of Singularity. They never bothered. “Lightbringers…” The fiery pain shot through him again. “Singularity be my guide. Singularity, Direction, Feeling, Persistence, Achievement, Balance, Precision, Order. Yes, Order. There would be Order. Their order. The order of the Awakening. Control. We will control. Passion. They will know fear at our return. Diligence. We will not stop this time. “

The pain faded, and as it did, little purple sparks danced on the gear around the Technomancer’s neck.

“Yew will be ours. Nothing will stop us now. The Dark Awakening rises."

As Unity walked through the front doors of his tavern he noticed the flickering of briliantly bring purples and blues. He knew from the very mement he saw the lights what had hapeened, it was begining.

Unity quickly ran to the light seeming th ebeing better and better as he got close. It was indeed as he thought, Dealthagar stood before Unity now and they saw one naother eye to eye.

Unity looked sternly into Dealthagar's eyes and spoke in a Gargish tongue. The convorsation went one for many moments untill they both heard a noise from aside the castle farthest from where they stood. In the shadows where the ruins of the old library stood a new home and someone was entering the house. Unity looked to dealthagar and spoke again, this time in a more common tongue "We should go inside and speak more of this matter." Dealthagar noded once and they were off to the castle, they enterd the castle and went through many rooms to a back passage and then entered through the darkness into seemebly nothingness.

As Unity and Dealthagar walked past the far chambers a light flickered, they both walked a well known trail to them, yet still it had been many many years since they had gone to this room. When they got to the end door it was locked, Unity took his key ring out and clanged keys around searching for the proper key. "Ahh yes, this is it." he says. Unlocking the door they slowly entered, the door squeeled a foul screek as it opened, the floors creaked as if the nails and floorboards had lifted over the time, and then in the far side there was the torch that was flickering under the doorway before. Unity loked up to the torch, took it from the wall, and then proceeded to light the lamps about the room.

"Dealthagar.", Unity spoke very boastingly this time.

"Yes?", Dealthagar responded.

Looking back around the room one last time stopping to study every object, Unity looked at Dealthagar. "The last time I was in this room, Anna and yourself were commanding me." Looking back around the room still he stopped at a large hand drawn map of Yew with many territories apon it.

Dealthagar spoke out in question "What do we do now?"

"Dealthagar" Unity said. "Now, we wait."

They both took seats at the round table across from one another and began once more discuessing the terms, ideas, and thoughts they both had on this new matter.

Anna stood in the basement of Unity’s house as she racked her finger across the shard of a glowing crystal, blood starting to kiss the surface of her finger she lifted it to eye level to watch with a delicious glee as the crimson rich blood dripped from the cut. Behind her, her keen hearing began to pick up footsteps as a wicked grin kissed her lips.

A stone door opens with an thud as Dealthagar walked in, Anna quickly turning to face him holding the blood soaked finger she reaches out with a swiftness and holds the single fingertip scant millimeters away from his lips.

Anna speaks in a low purr, a rich fullness adding a whole new spectrum of emotion, depth and audile color to her voice, “Care to see what manner of blood flows in my veins?” Dealthagar gazed upon her, watching her. “ I… thought… you dead.” His eyes began to fill with tears at the sight of her. “Danger and caution, choice and circumstance...a single drop of eternity to roll upon your tongue...” Her eyes never leaving his she swipes her thumbnail across her forefinger's tip...and a soft, red droplets forms. With a seduction of lust she places her finger gently on his lips, her blood touching his soul. “ Bali? What… are you?” He began to question her, as she grew angry at his pries into her origin. “I AM dead! You did this to me with your betrayal!” Her eyes began to sting with tears as they gave way and cascaded down her soft, pale cheeks leaving a trail of blood as they rolled down her face.

Dealthagar dropped to his knees as he sobbed professing his love for her. She placed the torn fingertip to her own lips and gently sucked the sweet nectar her own body was willing to give forth as she watched him.

The night went into a furry of emotions between the two. Anger, love, hate, evil all lead to one action, the act of betraying love as Anna bent down, kissing the back of Dealthagar’s neck with her soft lips as she whispers to him, “ I came for my son, you-will-give-him-to-me.”

Quickly he stood and glared at her. “Take him! Kill him! Tear him into tiny pieces…. Do what ever you wish with our son…just…come home to me… be my Dark General again!”

Time seem to stand still for the two…her web of seduction she did weave around her lover as his own seduction he placed upon her. The two lovers… the two Generals of Darkness battled long into the night as Yew became a battleground of blood, lust and betryael.

…And unto the child did the mother thus place a kiss of death and darkness and a crown of hate upon his head… a pool of blood spills forth from the heart…the father falls in vain…cursed be the virtues this night as darkness hath won the heart…

-----------------------------------------------------------

In the tank, bubbling with the green solution Dealthagar’s heart, head, organs seemed to float in time in the Techomancy container. A change was accruing. A birth… an Awakening.

Dealthagar rocked lightly, suspended in the healing fluid of his tank.

Anna was not dead or gone from the realm.

Her wrath had been great, thier argument tumultuous. Blood and tears mingled on the ground wherever they went.

He could not resolve himself. The love of two women, his duty to the Awakening, the need to follow his heart.

To keep the Triumverate of the Awakening together, Anna had to stay. To stay with the Awakening, Anna could not bear to see Dealthagar with another. To be true to himself, he could not leave Lilyth.

He was the crux of the problem, and the crux of the solution.

He could not bear to look upon the world in his weakness, so he tore his offending eyes from thier sockets.

His heart had betrayed him, giving him no solace or guidance, so he instructed the servitors to remove it, and replace it with a steel and orichalum unit.

All he had worked for, all he had touched, all he lived for, corrupted and ruined. All by his hands.

They could be replaced as well.

Fitted to the elbow with his technomantic hands, gleaming orichalum gauntlets flexed, restoring thier connections in place of bone and sinew.

The elven blood had done its work. It had ressurected him from the dead. It had also infected him with the weak moral code and the sentimental blithering that made elves inferior to the true masters of the world, the Gargoyles.

In his dream like state, the Gargish language bubbled from his lips.

"Tú rete ku klí axi: ún, or, esh us. Tere'sta e'st ni vas grav e'stati'm Pri'tas. Anlem ans'a anpor Anlor Anzu. Ilem postim anin tú de Vasargsarp"

His prayer faded to silence as the servitors within the tank began to remove and replace other unneeded parts and implant the systems that were his trappings as the Technocrat Primus. It would be a long, arduous and painful surgery, but in the end, he would be more efficiant, more focused and more prepared for the coming wars.

~~~~~~~~~~
OOC Translation of Dealthagar's babblings
"Tú rete ku klí axi: ún, or, esh us."
All begins with the three principles: Control, Passion and Diligence.
"Tere'sta e'st ni vas grav e'stati'm Pri'tas."
There is no greater power than Singularity.
"Anlem ans'a anpor Anlor Anzu"
No one can stop the Dark Awakening
"Ilem postim anin tú de Vasargsarp"
We will destroy all of the Silver Serpent (those who follow Lord British's false virtues.)
Unity stood on the roof of the castle staring out apon the lands where the courtyard once was very active. He spoke out quietly but there was no one there to hear him, with his words came a thunderous boom and clouds of an unnatural manor arose. As the night grew darker and then it came to him again, the vision..
It had been many many years since he had seen the sight of his own distruction and demise many years forseen, but this time it was not him. It was Dealthagar, his closest of friends, and the last of his remaining family. They were very dark and dreary deaths. He saw a vision of himself as the last remaining of them all, Scared, feelings of utter silence and being alone, fully this time. all alone. He fell to his knees, his body nervously, violently trembled.
When Unity came to again there was blood apon the floor and his palms were once more bleeding, slightly crusted over with scab, healing rapidly. He looked around to see if there was anyone about to have seen this episode, btu there was no one. With a sigh of relief he went back to downstairs to where once stood a grand main hall, now utilized as a classroom for the West Yew University he looked about madly once more hearing the footsteps again, footsteps of a grand army marching through the dining halls, clanking silver ware of many men, soldiers sitting to feast. With these noises running through Unity's head he felt as if the room was spinning, untill he collapsed once more this time hitting his head apon a corner of the nearby desk where he stood. With the quick blow to his head he fell unconcious.
Many hours past when he was woke by a sudden pound at the castle door, Unity went to the door and answered it promptly. It was Anna, this was the first time he had seen her in weeks. Unity quickly took her to the tavern next door to discuess matters, she informed him that she had spoke to Dealthagar that eve, he had been acting quite odd, she told Unity. With this information Unity then told Anna of his plans and matters to come, Anna laughed wickedly and looked to Unity speaking quietly "You always did make me proud." With a grim smile Unity continued to tell her of the plans.
As Unity finished with his thoughts in came his nephew Zilthai, Little Zilthai was all fired up. He was out for blood, Unity slowed Zilthai down and talked to him some when Zilthai noticed Anna. Little Zilthai jumped back and drew his sword yelling at Anna "What have you done to my father!?" he screamed several times. Unity went upstairs to allow Anna to discuess the matter with Zilthai. "After all she is his mother", Unity thought to himself, "She must know how to handle him." He returned back to the basement many moments latrer refreshed with a bottle of wine. Unity noticed that Zilthai and Anna were speaking calmly now and rationally. She ahd explained it to little Zilthai, and now it was time to find out what had happened to Dealthagar for himself. Unity set off to Dealthagar's Mansion in Caina, Felucca where Dealthagar lay in the healing chambers once more. Only this time Unity had also noticed some tinkered parts laying about. Unity looked into the tank seeing that Dealthagar was in fact missing his hands, had his heart torn out seemingly by the bare hands of a person, and that his eyes, and eye lids where bloodied, assumably his eyes were truely gone aswell.
Zilthai had been telling the trueth, but what puzzled Unity was why where there also all these tinkered parts about as if someone else had been working in the shop aside from himself and Dealthagr. Unity went looking some more as went to the tables, searching the chests he found what it was he had been searching for. Mechanical eyes, mechanical gauntlets, much like the one unity himself had on his right hand from a battle many ages ago, and also a biochemical and mechanicaly enhansed heart. Dealthagar had been rebuilding himself for some reason, but why? Could he feel guilt? Was this possible? Unity was even more confused now, but all he could do is wait and as he waited he himself had many things and plans to ponder over and many achievements to inform Dealthagar on apon his return.
Pain.
Floating the in green healing fluid of the tank, Dealthagar felt pain.
Not the sharp pain of a fresh injur, or the throbbing ach of an old battle scar, but the deep cold pain of a heart hardening.
Love had once saved him, now it damned him.
He had let the weakness of British's Virtues infect him.
Passion. Dilligence. Control.
The alarms on the tank began to sound, and the fluid slowly drained. The harness undid itself and fresh warm water began to flow over him, cleaning his restored form. As he regained consciousness he became aware of himself and the world around him.
His world. His World.
A dark grin crept across his face as he stepped from the tank. Qickly toweling off, he redressed in the fresh clothes Sularis had laid on the table for him. A small package sat there with a note. "Madam Noir left this with you with a note." There was no reason to open it. He knew what it was.
Clutching the packet from Lilyth, he tossed it into the fire without opening it. "Nothing personal, dear." He paused. A smirk crossed his face, then a grin, hen the hall rang with laughter. The pain was no longer.
Unity sat once again waiting for the return ship from the lands afar that his wife Sue Michelle and his Dark General Anna. It was a dark night like many that had come before, Unity was simply pondering his next quest, newly aquiring official documentation of The Dark Awakening once again having supreme rule over Yew, under the Trammel moon. Sitting in his throne room staring twords the front of the castle just wandering with random thoughts of darkness swirling, his eyes were bright blood red this evening especially, Unity had spent the last few weeks under the Felucca moon in his home in Trinsic. He stood looking about and then walked to the front of the castle.
As he looked up to the sky it seemed as though it was dead silent, a silence only an outcast could enjoy. Unity laughed darkly and mutterd in a gargish tongue "Prí-tas, ver, um, vas-wís, úus, an-zú an-lor, ku an-ord ad bet-tim lor-tim."
He then retired back to his throne with the setting of the moon and breaking of a new darkness born with a new day.
**("Prí-tas, ver, um, vas-wís, úus, an-zú an-lor, ku an-ord ad bet-tim lor-tim." translates roughly to "Singularity, trueth, shadows, ultimate wisdom, raise up, awaken darkness, with chaos apon young daylight.")**
