The questioning was quite boring. Drayden even tried to feign ignorance of whom this person was. A glassy look was in the human's eyes. His answers were simple, far too simple. The Patriarch had happened upon him by chance. This must have been one of Shri'rae's little side projects.
Questioning in him in the damp smelly cave he had been left it would do no good. This prisoner could be useful and he didn't want to see that possible profit go out the window. So they sat now in the Double Dagger Inn, looking at one another. Each question bringing a less than acceptable answer and less information.
"So tell me. Who shall I write your ransom letter to?"
"Magnate Isk or King Sid. They are my closest friends."
So Drayden was put at a decision. Write to an old friend or write to his hated enemy. The choice was a fairly easy one.

King Sid,

I have not spoken to you in some time. It is strange how things change so much. One day, I am fighting beside you as a comrade and now. Well, now is different. I am writing in regards to one Thraxas Lord Regent of Yew. Oddly enough, I found him living in a cave with my ships and supplies. Strange indeed. I have him in my possession, and would like to negotiate his release to you, if we can make the terms agreeable.
You may send your replies to Buccaneer's Den. I await your reply, as does Thraxas.
Regards,
Patriarch Drayden Calamyr

I would of course be interested in the recovering of the Regent of Yew ,Words such as possession and negotiate ...do speak of dark deeds, if you truley did discover him ,I am sure we can come to some agreeable terms.

Lord Sid
