i sat at my desk staring at the flickering of the flame on the candle. its been a long time since i felt this way. my normal decisions consisted of should i stab someone or carve into furniture of a tavern i visited. i was never prepared for the feelings that beginning to form. it has been a few weeks since i left zento to fufill a promise of a old friend. i left a note with the innkeeper in hopes that chinatsu might come looking for me one day.




*journal entry*
this house i am meant to watch over is not as bad as i first thought, but the woman that runs it makes me want to stab her more and more everyday. my friend hired me to watch over her and this building he doesnt trust her and i can see why.

tonight chinatsu visited me, i showed her around. it was good to see a familiar face again. she seemed to enjoy the ice rink although next time ill offer her some padding. when she left we hugged and she kissed me... its been so long since i had those types of feelings. i hope i get to see her again soon


The following day i woke up early, i did my usual routine of checking the perimeter of the house and finally began to check over the interior. as i opened the doors to the ice rink i couldnt help but laugh replaying the memories of the night before. i felt a hand on my shoulder i turned quickly grabbing the hand and throwing the person to the wall with my blade's point positioned on the neck. i looked at the face and relized who it was. aulbrey stood there in shock, i pulled away and told her next time she might be better off staying out of my way.
