Should try going into the atlantic rp chatroom. You'll usually hear someone talking, get invited to an adventure involving Silent Poet trying to undress someone (or something, baaaaaaaah) or whatever.

Besides that, you can just look at the events people schedule, see if they are open to all and then attend. Get an idea of who is doing what these days.
