Cuthbert looked down at the report turned in to him from the Reconnaissance team that had been sent into the mountains. There really wasn't much on it.

He skimmed over the parchment, eyes darting from bullet point to bullet point. A few towers... Meadhall... A lot of choke-points... hmmm... that could be helpful... he thought to himself. The courier that had delivered the report remained standing at attention in front of the desk. Cuth looked up from the report at him "This is fine. That will be all, you are dismissed". The courier began to turn to leave, then looked back at Cuthbert. "Permission to speak, sir?"

"Granted" Cuth said.

"When Master Mal'Ganis gave me this report to give to you, he asked that I make sure to draw your attention to his personal note at the bottom..."

Cuth looked down at the bottom of the report. A hand written comment read:

"General,
I moved from building to building hidden the entire time. I did see one member, but I am unaware if he saw me. Moreover, I was able to enter their buildings - although there was nobody in any of them at the time. I left a nice note for them on their bulletin board inside one of the complexes. It read:

Too bad nobody was around. The Republic of Magincia sends it's regards....

Cuth laughed loudly and dismissed the courier with a wave of his hand. The reconnaissance was supposed to have been covert, but he couldn't be mad. After all, he would not have been able to restrain himself from doing the same thing.
