I played this game about 7-8 years ago in this community, and still think about it from time to time. I have good and bad memories and there's some parts of my past rp that still make me chuckle to this day. Are there still ORCs? Sanctus? People still out there creatively panamiming the life of a character that they made years ago as a cool idea and sticking with it? I never could recreate such an interesting experience with another game. ARPC has branded itself in my mind and after all these years I still come to silently check the Great Assembly Hall to see what people have to say like I did so frequently when I was a teen. I was never a real popular or well known player and when I first played this game (in junior high) i was still running around being a social deviant irl. Sorry guys just got a wild hair....I want to start playing again but i dunno how cool my wife and gorgeous two step children would be with it. Anyways thats it from me for now...it has taken a long time to get the courage to post here again

I just returned to UO a few months ago after a 4 year nap. haha People change and guilds come and go but ARPC is still going strong. The group of people playing has gotten much smaller then the old days but i see people coming back and new people coming in everyday.
Sanctus is still there but a little more haunted with memories then teaming with life. The new hangouts seem to be Luna bank/stables and Haven bank. We do have tavern nights every monday night at different places.
I have joined MTC ( Moonglow Town Council) and we get new people all the time.

So ....UO is what you are willing to make of it. You can wait for someone to entertain you ( and be waiting a while) OR you can jump in and entertain yourself.

If you do decide to come back, drop by Moonglow and say hi. My house is easy to find. Go to Moonglow bank, then head North and keep going until you run into it. haha

I came back about two years ago. I haven't played much the last 4-5 months, but things are still alive and kicking on a whole.
