Dear Sheriff Spawn,

How are you?
I am writting to request an update on the case status of the attack that happened to me in Sanctus lands a few weeks ago. When last we spoke, your investigation had uncovered many leads and you had said you were close to unveilling the main culprit. How does the investigation of the possible accomplice fare?

I do nau mean to be pushy or annoying on this matter, but my husband has been most assuredly concerned, that the culprit may get away with the crime and be free to use other methods to to put me at risk, before he or she is caught and dealt with lawfully. I know that you are most competent and skilled in your duties, and have faith that you are handling things appropriatly.

I would just like to request a status-report on the case to be given to Tarothin or Mave so as to better ease my husband's mind on this.

Spawn paced around his office pondering about the attack on Ditto. Notes on the possible suspects and other papers were scattered across his desk.

"Who? Who could have ordered the attack on Ditto?" Spawn asked himself. He continued to pace back and forth in his office. Spawn stopped pacing and looked over the list of the possible suspects. "Savhanna? It is possible since she tried to attack Ditto at the Trinsic council meeting. Legerion? He does have a dislike for Tarothin" Spawn asked himself. He then looked over the new names he wrote down when he was at the Regency meeting. "Drake of Humanis and that Nick character... They both seemed extremely pleased when Tarothin's order was denied into the Regency. Ishmael? Tarothin and him did have an agrument at the meeting" Spawn then looked at the last name on the list. Tarothin's name was on the bottom of the list with a question mark after it. "Tarothin... Hmm... He is married to Ditto... I do not think he would order an attack on his own wife." Spawn took a pen with ink and crossed out Tarothin's name from the list.

Spawn then continued to pace back and forth in his office. "So let us try this again... There was one possibly two assassins... Wearing the colors of the Trinsic Honor Guard... Someone had to pay these assassins to attack Ditto... And that someone is... Hmm" Spawn said to himself. He then sat on his desk and began to ponder his thoughts again. Spawn took a drink of water and started to look over his papers again. He then saw a letter in between them, took it out, and began to read it. After a few moments, Spawn took out a piece of blank parchment and a pen with some ink then placed them both on his desk. He then began to write on the parchment with the pen.

I'am doing very well...
As for the investingation, It is not an easy one but I will find answers soon. The lead I had unfortunately turned out false. I can understand your husband's concern in this matter. But he can rest assured that the one who did this will not get away from me that easily. I will find the criminal and make sure that person pays for what they've done. Thank you for your time and Good Day.

Spawn then stamped the letter with the seal of the Sheriff of Sanctus and handed it to a messenger. He told the messenger to deliever this letter to Ditto, The messenger saluted and walked out of the Sheriff's office. Spawn then leaned back in his chair and began to read over his notes in deep thought.

Ditto opened the door to the inner hallway of Armunn Keep, her mind still whirling with thoughts on what to do about a certain problem, but even just talking to her dearest friend, Cat had done wonders for her. The confessions had been long and heartfelt ones. Cat never judged and always understood. They'd been interrupted though, before she could get her much needed advice and that thought plagued her. A trip to the Garden as soon as possible was in order now...guard or no. She had just turned on her heels to go back out the doorway, when a messenger escorted by guard, emerged into the hallway and respectfully handed her a sealed letter.
She opened the letter and began reading. A warm smile played upon her lips and she looked up just in time to halt the messenger from leaving.

"Please inform your Sheriff Spawn that I have read his letter and look forward to thanking him in person the next time we meet for all the work he's done thus far."
The messenger gave a quick deep nod of the head and turned, headed back to his Sanctus homeland.
