Ok so I just posted a flier in each of the major cities In Characterly announcing the grand opening of my casino tomarrow. And I was able to pass off a rune to Merci for Goodman's. I cant wait to see everyone there tomarrow night.

It says TBA on the Calendar for Monday Oct 08th, so Im guessing this is the TBA. Smile

It certainly can be if you want to it to be. At least that was the impression I was under. The short version is that on the 22nd I PMed Merci about getting into the rotation. On the 23rd she wrote back and expressed some interest but was lacking a time slot and suggested a non-tavern night as a possibility. Sometime after Aulbrey mentioned not wanting to host tavern night at the Lush House. On the 26th Merci PMed me stating she would have an opening on the 8th. After that a few PMs went back and forth as far as what info she needed from me and that she needed a rune. She was busy with the Ultima anniversay and I was busy starting a new job so things did get down to the wire. I wasn't expecting it to be so soon but I think aside from it being officially marked on the schedule. I think everything is in place and a rune has been placed at Goodmans.

If you don't want to come because its not actually listed officially on the schedule I apologize and I hope you don't miss out on too much fun. Maybe ill unofficially name the place TBA. If you're showing up anyway I can't wait to see you there.

Yes this is tonights tavern night.

Sorry guys I thought I changed that before I went on my trip but apparently I only updated our tavern night faq.

Anyhow it shows this event properly on the schedule now!

It's cool Merci. I was running behind too. I kept making non-UO pans and putting off with both the in and out of character announcements. If I had posted those sooner someone would have called us out sooner. Oh well.

Either way the night started off slow but it think thing s picked up after I just gave Aulbrey her own cask of Akvavit that is named the Gambler. I was giggling to myself probably the whole night think someone was actually drinking it. I did doe research when they came out with distillation and made a point to try real world equivilants of the liquor a like Akavit. The closest think I could get was a liquor called Mallort which initially has no flavor but he after taste is one thing like carrots and gasoline. I've tricked a few of my friends since and friendships have been stained as a result.

So I just want to say thanks for the laughs and thanks for coming. I know I had a gret time. I hope we can do it again.
