Oki, so at first I thought it could be like a Mardi Gras thing but I dont think ppl wanna party hearty every single night for a month...irl maybe, but not ig. hehe Sooooo, now Im thinking like a 2 day event per "saint".
The "saints" are, in a nutshell, ppl who either quit uo or are still in uo but are no longer in the D|O. The "revered", "honored" ppl that made either big contributions, or a loud noise in the community for the Dark Order. I can't possibly list ALL the guys that contributed strongly to our cause but I can get a few.
So far, I have:

Saint Beldon
Saint Maximus
Saint Inkari
Saint Mairsil
Saint Eli

Thats 5 festivals. 2 days per week for 5 weeks. All festivals to be held in Nu'jelm fel. Each Saint to have a special parade. (5 parades)

I tried to make note of what was memorable about each character when they were in the D|O. Personality traits, likes, events or incidents they triggered, and so on. Like for Beldon, he was known to most as being insane, unpredictable, the tornado of the community; yet fiercly loyal and caring to those he considered family. And, his love of bright orange. He was never one to turn down a good fight. Willing to pimp out his friends, or his friends' wife, in the name of greed. Little known fact, Beldon was a wise philosopher.

Saint Beldon Festival, April 2nd (ideas so far): The wearing of bright orange. Random pking allowed. MUCH drinking. Random spell casting at crowds allowed. MUCH drinking. Need some sort of contest involving magery.

(really wish we could dye chickens. A line of orange chickens in the parade would be awesome. Do ostards come in orange?)
If anyone has any ideas to add to the Festival of St. Beldon, please reply with your suggestions.

Saint Maximus Festival (ideas so far): Wear your best armor. The pking of anyone that annoys you allowed, Sheep molestation allowed, (though not encouraged). A sheep parade, and at the end of it...sheep slaughter. Much dueling. Much drinking. Tax EVERYONE often, (in this case ppl can just pretend to give gold. I won't make ppl broke just to attend a festival. hehe).



So thats all I have so far. Help me out guys. Even if you didn't/don't know the "saints" listed, some general & fun ideas to do at a festival would be very helpful.
