The floor was littered with crates, books and various other items as Jago made his way to the library desk. He sat down heavily in the padded chair picking up a dusk covered book. Wiping the dust away from the book he set it aside as he looked out the window of the keep.

The village was quiet, he had not seen or heard many people as he cleaned and organized the keep the last few weeks. An occasional person or two ran through the village, but that was a rare occurrence. At one time the village bustled with activity and was the home to many members of the Lost Order of Akalabeth among others. Now just a few remained.

Jago sighed as he looked around the room. It was much cleaner than it was just a few hours before. He had uncovered many ancient tomes of knowledge and history of the lands in the library. The keep would soon be clean and organized. For too long it had sat empty collecting dust. Many memories and artifacts of the history of the order sat here. Picking up another book Jago wiped the dust off, opened it and read.

"Beware ye of the order, fore evil things shall play upon the land in great number, and they shall assail the strongholds of the virtuous. And those strongholds shall become few, Fore evil is known to wear the face of great beauty and power, and many shall fall to its bewitching might. But when the sky appears at its most dark, look ye to the faithful of the shard of light, fore it shall provide ye with what you need to stand fast. When the shadows seem at its longest and most powerful, and ye are beset by enemies on all sides, the the light of the shard shall provide the order with guardians..."

Jago closed the book and sat it upon the desk. Much filled his mind as he thought over the words in the book. The order was not near what it once was. The Lost Order of Akalabeth once boasted over eighty members and was one of the first five such organizations established. Now the numbers were fewer than a handful.

"I suppose the time has come to open the doors." Jago said to himself. "Recruit I must, The Order will not fail, we will regain our strength and return to our proper place."

He turned back to his cleaning and quickly went about his work.
