After a long day of hunting Beowulf decided to go rest at Poets garden. He arrived there, wearing his hood shroud so no one really knew who he was he walked into the stables. There standing was an Ebon Skull slave, staring down the hallway towards Beowulf.

“Are you Hummer?” the slave asked.

“Hummer? Nay, Beowulf.” He replied.

The slave simply nodded and threw a rune book on the ground.

“Masters would like to speak with you.” The slave told him. Beowulf simply smirked and enchanted the words to create a magical gate off the book lying on the ground. The two stepped through and stood looking at the temple of The Ebon Skull.

Upstairs, they wish to speak to you.” The slave demanded. Beowulf chuckled to himself, he wasn’t moving until he was asked. Finally he got sick of waiting and walked towards the magical tile. Bailos came down and ordered him upstairs.

“Not moving till you ask.” Beowulf stated. Finally Bailos asked him to join them upstairs and they both stepped on the magical tile. He appeared in a room that was all too familiar to him. It was where they had Tatiana locked up when he came to rescue her. Darrien stood glaring at him, anger in his eyes he looked unforgiving.

“I’ll give you one chance. Who ordered the assassin after me?” he asked Beowulf.

“Assassin, what are you talking about?” The two argued for a little while, the normal things went back and forth. Darrien threatened to kill Tatiana, Beowulf threatened to kill him. Beowulf concluded the conversation and turned to leave, he walked right into an energy field.

Beowulf turned to face Bailos evil grin, at the same moment Darrien was enchanting the words to summon a vengeful spirit on him. Snapping his fingers Beowulf appeared outside and made a run for it, he quickly dispelled the vengeful spirit and headed back to the temple.

He ran as hard as he could down the hallway; an energy field blocked him from the magical tile he wished to jump on. Finally it went down and he ran down the hall onto the magical tile. Snapping his wrists, and pointing his hands towards Bailos a vengeful spirit was quickly on top of him, now there was only Darrien. Yelling a series of spells he watched Darrien fall to his face.

Beowulf left the temple for a while and went home. It bothered him that Darrien still thought he knew the answers to all of his questions. Unsettled Beowulf decided to return to the temple and take Darrien away for a word.

He arrived at the temple and gated to his house in malas, the same house The Ebon Skull had killed him at. Bailos and the slave followed along. They sat upstairs talking for a bit and then it happened, he was finally sick of Darriens threats.

“Darrien I will ruin you if you don’t stop threatening Tatiana.” Darrien and Bailos attacked him in unison. Away from the house Beowulf went again, dispelling the vengeful spirit who wanted his soul so badly, he returned to his house. Running up the steps he was shot back by flames, flames shot out of all of his windows. He ran to the floor where he was confronting Bailos and Darrien to find it was up in flames.

Beowulf clenched his fist and screamed out in rage. Bailos stood laughing, he was erupted into flames and shot back by an energy blast. Darrien saw Beowulf come up the stairs and fled.

“He’s not getting away this time.” He thought to himself. Beowulf chased Darrien into his room and absolutely demolished Darrien. He burned him right down to the ground, a magical gate appeared out of thin air and the slave and Bailos ran through. Beowulf quickly dispelled the gate and left Darrien behind for their private word.

"No tea?" Darrien asked. Beowulf took Darrien into his burning down house, the basement was still untouched. The bartended through together a quick tea and left for his own safety. The two exchanged a few words and than Darrien was off. Beowulf stood by himself watching his house burn down. He sighed to himself and walked off, he would just hire a bunch of architects to rebuild his home.

Returning to his new home in Dark Cove Beowulf walked to his unfinished office and collapsed in his chair. He looked down at his chest board and smiled to himself. Tarothin had made a comment about taking up chess; Beowulf was reluctant to do so. Moving a few pieces to their respectful places he stood up pulled his hood over his head and was off.
