"They're going to love you! They will, you'll see. This is going to be fun!" Natalya said, with a huge smile on her face, looking at Vaen.
"Eh, I hope so. We'll see." Vaen said.
The two of them were visiting Natalya's parents. Natalya hasn't seen her parents in two to three years, and Vaen has never really met them.
They both walked slowly up a long path, leading into the patch of woods where a farm had been constructed. The farmhouse was of average size, being one floor and having only the necessary rooms. The farm itself, however, was immense. Horses, cows, sheep, pigs, and chickens all ran free in the fields they were fenced within. Natalya smiled to herself as she looked over the field, remembering her childhood and the times she spent with the animals.
Natalya pulled Vaen along up to the front door and looked at him with an even bigger smile than before. "Ready?" she asked.
Vaen nodded. Natalya knocked on the door, and not more than five seconds later did Natalya's mother open the door. She was of fair height, and extremely skinny. She seemed to be maybe fourty years old. Light brown hair came down to her shoulders. Her face was wrinkling slightly. When she spoke, you could see into her mouth, and see that she had been missing a good number of teeth.
"Natalya!" she said, immediately wrapping her arms around her daughter, hugging her tightly. Natalya hugged her back, smiling. They broke the hug and Natalya's mother looked over at Vaen. "And who is this handsome piece of meat you have there?"
Vaen's eyes grew wide, and his mouth opened slightly. Natalya blushed bright red, not knowing how to answer her mother's question. She looked to Vaen for help, but Vaen couldn't say anything either. At that moment, Natalya's beastly father came outside. "Natalya!!" the man said with a mouth full of food. This man was the same height of Natalya's mother, yet he rivaled an ogre in weight. He wore no shirt, and Vaen guessed it was probably because none would really fit him. He wrapped his arms instantly around Natalya, picking her up and hugging her.
"Eeps!" Natalya began giggling a little and looking at her father.
Her father laughed a little, and put her down. He then looked over at Vaen and chuckled. "He don't look so tough. Who is he?"
"Oh, uhm..." Natalya blushed again, then composed herself. "This is Vaen. He is my... fiancee..." Natalya blushed bright red.
"Oh, really?" said her Father
"That's wonderful!" said her mother, a big toothy grin came across her face as she looked at Vaen. Vaen smiled slightly, looking at her mother.
"He don't look so tough! Come on." The grossly large man put his hands up and started stepping slowly towards Vaen. "Let's go around. Man versus Man!"
"Uhhh, erm. I don't know..." Vaen said. He looked to Natalya but Natalya just stood there, not knowing what to do. He looked to Natalya's mother who still had her big toothy grin on her face. Vaen was quickly growing to hate that grin.
"Oh come on. Bring it on!" said Natalya's father. He swing at Vaen and Vaen dodged quickly. The father laughed a little. "You're a quick one!"
Vaen chuckled lightly, and dodged another one of the father's punches. "Stand still!" He threw a few more, but Vaen dodged. The large man began to breathe heavily, obviously getting tired all ready. He swung at Vaen once more and missed, and ended up putting too much effort into the punch that he threw himself to the ground, landing on his ass.
Vaen laughed a bit to himself, as did Natalya and her mother.
"Well, uhh," Natalya's father looked around, "Right. Good show, son!" Vaen smiled uneasily and nodded in return slightly.
The man tried to get up, but his massive size didn't permit him to do it on his own. He tried rolling to his side, but that didn't work. Soon enough, he was half-rolling on the ground, trying to gain momentum so that he could get on his feet.
"Erm, would you like a hand?" Vaen asked.
"No, no no!" the father said quickly. "I can do it!"
"Harold. Let the boy give you a hand!" said Natalya's mother.
"Danielle, I'm perfectly fine on my own." said Harold
Harold continued to roll side to side, attempting to get up. He eventually gave up and put his hand in the air, sighing. Vaen went over and clasped his hand, helping him to his feet.
"Thanks," said Harold. Vaen nodded.
"Come on in!" said Danielle, "You're just in time for dinner!" She smiled her same old grin towards Vaen, and Vaen felt extremely uncomfortable. How could anyone have such an ugly grin? It didn't help, of course, that she was missing a few teeth. Vaen nodded slightly, and then looked to Natalya. Natalya walked over to him and smiled, leading him in to the dining room.
Danielle set the table for more people. Vaen looked around the table and saw five plates. He looked to Natalya, and whispered, "There's another one?"
Natalya giggled and nodded. "My younger sister. She's..."
"MOMMY MOMMY! Guess what I d--- ooohhh..." Natalya's younger sister, maybe eleven years old, came running into the room, and immediately shifted her glance to Vaen. Her eyes widened and her mouth dropped. "Mommy! Can I keep him?!"
Vaen looked at the little girl, then over to Natalya. His face showed extreme confusion. Natalya turned bright red.
"No no, Denise. You can't. He's Natalyas!" she smiled that grin again. Vaen shifted his glance away from her.
"Can I touch him?" she smiled.
"What?" Vaen said.
"I want to touch you!" she giggled
"Uhhhh... Uhhh... ...." Vaen looked over to Natalya. Natalya was extremely red. Natalya's mother laughed a little.
"Go ahead Denise."
"Wait! Don't I have a say in this?" Vaen said
"I just want to touch you!" Denise said, running over to Vaen.
Vaen shifted in his chair closer to Natalya's, but Denise still came over and grabbed Vaen's arm. "He's cuuuuuuute."
"He is, ain't he?" Harold said, walking into the dining room. Vaen looked over at Harold and then at Natalya again. Natalya's face was completely red, and she tried to hide it in her hands. Now, Vaen has Natalya's father calling him cute, Natalya's mother's grin causing Vaen to feel extremely uneasy, and now there's this little devil child wanting to touch Vaen. This evening isn't quite turning out how Vaen had hoped.
"Dinner is ready!" Danielle said from the kitchen. She brought out a large plate of cooked chicken, and everyone took their seats. While everyone was getting their share of food, Denise had her elbows on the table and her head rested in her hands, sighing heavily and staring at Vaen. Vaen looked up at her, and then looked away, feeling even more uneasy then before. Once everyone had food on their plate, the conversation picked up again.
"So, Natalya." Harold said. "Have you and Vaen been together?"
Natalya looked at her father a big oddly and nodded. "We're always together, dad."
"No no, Natalya." Harold laughed slightly. "I mean, have you two... been... together."
Vaen's eyes widened again, glancing around a bit, feeling uneasy. Natalya turned bright red once again, and couldn't speak a word. Harold then looked at Vaen.
"Well, Vaen? Maybe you can answer. Are you and my daughter getting naked together?"
"Uhh, well, uhh.." Vaen said. Feeling extremely uncomfortable, glancing around still. Biting down on his lower lip. "I... uhh..."
"I want to touch him again." Said Denise, staring at Vaen, sighing heavily once more. Vaen looked over at Danielle who had that same toothy grin on her face, making Vaen feel even more uneasy. He then looked over at Harold, who seemed to still be waiting for an answer. Then, he looked over at Natalya, who's face was redder than he's ever seen before, and she tried hiding it in her hands.
"Vaen? Well? Have you?" Harold asked again.
"I uhhh... Errr...."
"Mommy!! Can I touch him again?" Denise said, looking over at her mother.
Vaen closed his eyes and looked over at Harold. He shook his head.
Harold laughed loudly. "Haha, horse crap! I bet you two are pushing eachother's buttons every night!"
Vaen's eyes widened more. He had absolutely no idea how to respond to the comment. He then looked over at Denise's chair which was empty, and looked to his right, where she was, reaching to grab his arm. Vaen looked at her and she looked at him. She smiled big and then grabbed his arm. Vaen looked away from her over at Natalya, who's face was still buried in her hands. Denise then ran over to her chair and smiled.
Vaen quickly ate his meal, as did Natalya. They both wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. They both stood up after eating their meals, and even though everyone else was still eating, they wanted to leave.
"We should go." Natalya said, nodding to herself. "We have things to do."
"So soon?" said Danielle. Natlaya nodded. "All right Natalya. You take care of yourself and come back soon, you hear?" Natalya nodded, and hugged her mother. She then moved over to hug her father.
"It was nice meeting all of you." Vaen nodded to them.
"It was very nice meeting you...." Denise said, sighing softly.
"It was good to meet you Vaen," said Harold and Denise.
Vaen nodded to them all and quickly made his exit with Natalya.
"I'm sorry about that. They never used to be like that..." Natalya said, blushing.
"It's all right, at least you got to see them again, right?" Vaen said. Natalya smiled and nodded, then leaned in and kissed Vaen.
"See?! I told you! They are going to push eachother's buttons right now!"
Vaen and Natalya turned back to the house to see Harold standing in the door watching them. The two of them turned away and began walking away from the house.
"Have fun you two!" he yelled again.
Vaen and Natalya began walking a little faster, and soon they were out of sight of the farm. Vaen felt relieved. He had hoped that he wouldn't have to deal with them again, but knew, for some reason, that he would have to visit that house once more. He didn't look forward to that day, as it was probably one of the most uncomfortable situations he's ever been in. _________________
