Last night I gazed at the stars above my head while I stood on my fortress roof. I yearned to know why things had happened the way they did, and why I had to be alone so young. All my life I have been dependant upon myself. The creators must have surely had a great laugh when they conjured me. My blade skills have gotten more keen, and yet I still practice. I slayed my first blood demon this morn', and I hold great pride in this accomplishment. They are beginning to seem easier as the days pass. Perhaps I am getting closer to my goals of justice. I shall post a note for all to see upon the trees of the land.

To all ye who will hear,

I am but a lone warrior. I seek to complete what I feel has been handed unto me. What is this ye might ask? Justice. My mother, slain when I was but a boy, has a death to be avenged. The right of judgement has been passed unto me by the creators, and as such I must continue the path. I work day and night to improve my art, and I will do so til my final dying breath. Any who are interested in me may post a return letter here. I will return to receive them within the next night's moon. Know this: I will do nothing unjust. I am not a cutpurse, and I am no fool. Only leave a message if you have the most just of intentions.

Jago, Lord of Akalabeth reads the note left upon the tree. Nodding silently he thought how this sounded familiar. Quickly he left a note.

Johnny,
I know some of the pain that you must be feeling. I've been there in my own life to a lesser degree I am sure. But it hurts all the same. I am Jago Luthelair, Lord of Akalabeth. I am currently seeking to hire a few more blades to my steading. I would be happy to buy a mug for you and discuss the paths that The Lost Order of Akalabeth may provide for you and your future. Quickly he left the message posted upon the tree and went back to his training of the soldiers of Akalabeth. The stables were now complete and soon a war would rage in the land of Akalabeth.
