Leshok pushed open the doors to the Church and smiled, there was much work to be done, but work he would gladly take to. The land was once again Stormhaven, and the Stormguards were returning.
Leshok walked up to one of the desks he had put in the church recently, and wrote down a decree.
"Good people of Sosaria,
The Kingdom of Stormhaven is once more on the rise, our lands are again ours. With this in mind I feel I must make the following statements about the land that is our Kingdom. These are my decrees.
1. The following people are here by banned from the lands of Stormhaven: The woman Sonya, should she break this law, a fine of 2000 gold must be paid, then she is to be escorted from the land immediately. The traitor Bowen, whom commited many a crimes against our country and our people, is banned from the land under penalty of death, he will be given ONE warning to leave, no more.
2. The practice of Necromancy is not allowed, nor is the use of magery to summon any other wordly creatures, be it daemon or elemental, with out proper clearance.
3. It is asked should you be passing through our lands and see a Stormguard, let them know of your purpose of passing.
4. The following action will NOT be tolerated: thievery, murder, poisoning, or black mailing.
If ye have any questions, my door is open, and my messenger birds can be reached easily.

Sonya made her almost daily stop by the Stormhaven citadel and wandered through its empty rooms. As she stepped outside she saw Leshok approach. They greeted each other; he with his arms folded and a cold look and she with a warm smile and a friendly wave.
She asked if he intended to revive Stormhaven as she'd heard and he confirmed that. She checked the building next to the citadel and saw it indeed belonged to Stormhaven again.
He said since Finian disappeared it had all fallen into decay.
She told him Finian did not disappear. He died.
She added, I wish you well with it.
She told him she no longer opposed Stormhaven and meant them no harm. He said he well remembered her saying he would be Stormhaven's downfall. She admitted saying so and reminded him Stormhaven did fall although there were certainly other factors.
He said it was revived and did she know she was banned from the land?
No, she said. Why ban me?
He said because I hate your presence. She shrugged.
Your hate will keep you from success, she said. And she left. |

Leshok returned to the Citadel after venturing with Cyrus Silverbane for a while in Ilshnar, to find Sonya walking around Stormhaven. This annoyed Leshok to no end, not wishing to hear this woman again talk of his "downfalls". He approached her coldly, though at first he remained polite as he could with the conversation. He learned from her the death of Finian, and was saddened, Leshok had hoped he was just missing. The conversation started to go well, and Leshok was even a little tempted to remove her ban, which she didn't seem to know about. That was until after he reminded her that she called him the downfall of Stormhaven, which she seemed quite proud of, she said "Oh well things worked out".
"Things worked out? Morus and Finian are dead, I don't see anything being "worked out" Leshok said aggrevated to which she only shrugged. Leshok proceeded to tell her of her ban and when she asked why he explained. "To be honest? I hate your presence, and I don't think Stormhaven needs to have your type around here." She quickly reverted back to her old "stormhaven is going to die, your going to fail, i was right" babbling, to which Leshok merely got more aggrevated and just told her to go. Thankfully she did, "that wench brings out the worst in me..." Leshok mumbled after she left, glad for her to be gone and shrugged. He had more important things to worry about. _________________ After all these years, I'm still putting up with Kuja and Vaen? whats wrong with me?

From the Desk of Jeren Yendorin Duke of the Sanctum
After hearing fo the news of the Stormguards returning and reclaiming foot in their lands Jeren felt the need to send out a meesage himself to the Overseer of Stormhaven.
To the Overseer and his Stormguards,
I send this message with good stature and good reason. It has come to my knowledge you have established yourselves in your lands and with such evidence should bring you great pride. For just hearing such tale gives me courage to push forward my plans in the direction I wish to go.
It is not everyday a Knight succeeds, so it should be, but at times courage embraces many forms. I write to everyone with in Stormhaven a personal thanks for your courage and admire the steps you take towards justice and greatness.
I was in attendance for this evening Grand Opening of the Saints of the True Covenant, and wanted to speak with you personally and introduce myself, but so it seemed other agendas crossed my path with the Mayor of Yew and other good friends in gossip and was never able to introduce myself.
I wish you honor through this transition of new peace you all have found and from one Knight to another wish to hold conversation at a later time in your home or here at my Sanctum for Warriors when it is conveinent for yourself and your leadership.
"FOR GLORY, MAJESTY, UNITY"
Signed Jeren Yendorin |
