Captian Arlin,

I am on duty guarding Empath while I write this but I felt you should hear of this since what I have heard from some stranger is a bit of concern if it is true. It has to due with the citizens of Yew. A stranger dressed in a shadow colored robe and gloves, red hair, and seeming exhausted came by the Abby and I greeted him. He first inquired about diseased and ill in the area. At first I asked why and he replied because of the swamp and such. He claimed that people could easily get sick there. I didnt know of any sick of diseased so I told him I didnt know of any. He didnt know at first what town this was till I mentioned it to him.

I explained to him about how the swamp there came to be and directed to the healers building since it would be a good place to search. Well after some time passed he came back and I greeted him once more. He said he cured some diseased people. I inquired where and he said the ranchers in the swamp. I said he should speak to you since you could answear him fully on the situation. Hearing of diseased or sick citizens of Yew tho it has me a bit concerned. I just hope he was jesting.
