Martin had rested his hands on the railing of the small bridge overlooking the stream in Trinsic. LaBelle would be arriving soon, and he had hoped the meeting would go as well with her as the one with Arcana had. Savhanna for Spirituality, Arcana for Sacrifice, and now LaBelle...

She had already refused Humility once, but her reasoning had only convinced Martin that she was that much more worthy of the position. Hence, his meeting that night

Soon LaBelle had arrived, and they had spoken for a time of his request for her to take on the role of the Sage of Humility. Talking for a good hour, Martin had convinced her of her well-deserved place as a Sage.

Bidding a fond fairwell, Martin quickly departed for another meeting he had arranged, pretaining to the two books within his cloak he had not let out of his sight since he, Molly, and Kain had found them, weeks before....
