It was to be another long night. As of late, Tatiana could not sleep well. The dream, or nightmare, kept coming back. Her beloved Beowulf in some limbo land with some stranger. It must be fatigue. She saw Beowulf buried. She chose the spot, so what were these awful dreams?
She paced the house in Dark Cove. Last night, Ultima had said he needed a few items that might help solve this puzzle. Tatiana both hated and loved this house. Beowulf was infused in every inch of the place, it brought back wonderful memories, and yet, it was empty now. He was no longer here, and it made her ache with longing. Tatiana sighed and went back to looking for the items Ultima needed. They were an odd mixture, but she trusted Ultima to know what was needed. Maybe she shouldn't have told him of her dreams or nightmares. But he was her freind, and had helped her with her last nightmares.
After gathering the handful of items, she placed them in her bag and went to the Garden to see if Ultima was about the place. When Tatiana arrived Utlima was not about but Mr Poet was. Perhaps he could help her get through the night. He had all sorts of potions and such. Tatiana told Mr. Poet of her nightmares. He used his heartstone and felt of her babe. This terrified her till he assured her all was fine, but he thought the nightmares unusual. He handed her a bag with some ground up herbs and told her to add it to her green tea at night. Then he told her to keep a journal of these dreams. A journal? She had never kept a journal. But Mr. Poet was a learned man of lore and knew more than she.
She stirred the herbs into her tea and drank it quickly. Then settled in to try to sleep the night through. . . . . . . . .
