Alessandra sat on the top of the Golden Scales tavern looking out onto the sea feeling the warmth of the sun upon her face. How good it felt to be warm again. She had forgotten how nice the sun felt and how peaceful the sound of the waves could be. She thought back to the last meeting of the Northern Alliance. Her good friend Lia had been the topic. She had been worried for the safety of her friend, and was glad to hear she was not the only one. She had been asked to write a letter to her and speak to her and had readily agreed. It would be good to reconnect with her friend. Alessandra pulled out a blank scroll, unrolled it and began writing...

Dear friend,

I am sorry for the time that has passed since we have last talked. I hope that this letter finds you well both in health and in spirit. As you may have heard I have found refuge within the Legion of Justice, since fleeing from Tarothin's madness. I would like to invite you this Saturday evening to the Legion's holiday party. Please come and we can sit and talk like we have before. I look forward to seeing you then!

She rolled the parchment back up after allowing the ink to dry and sent it with one of the Legion's messengers. She gave him the instruction to give it to only Lady Lia and to no one else. As he left she looked back out to the sea and thought to herself... "It would be good to see a friend again... Let's just hope she will not only listen to me... but really hear me as well..."

Lia walked around the Hall looking around thinking what should I have the arcihitect change as if awaken from a daydream Lia hears a knock on the Citedral doors. She goes to the doors open them not recongizeing the person standing in front of her, she asks tis there something I can do for thee? He asks me if I happen to be Lady Lia I replies aye I am. Than he precieves to hand me a parchment I in turn gave him a bit of gold and thanked him. Lia closes the door behind her walks over to her chair opens the parchment begins to read. *smilesing to herself realizing it is from her friend Alessandra* Goes quickly to her writting table pulls down the ink and quill tow rite a quick reply.




Dear ALessandra,

Tis good to hear from ye again aye it has been way to long since we last spoke. I have heard ye were with the Legion of Justice now I hope they are treatig ye well and that thy tis happy with them. I will come to this party only to speak with ye as we have done in the past. I look forward to seeing ye tomorrow eve than.

Lia folds up the letter and calls out to her servant. Take this letter to Lady Alessandra ye might find her at the Golden Scales Tavern. Do not give it to no one else ye must give only to her. Now go and be quick about it...
