Day three of the Britain Invasion. The rest of the Yew Commonwealth has joined us and we take shifts to guarding the causeway of the castle. Most of the Refugees have made their way inside the castle and benefit from make shift hospitals and warm meals. But I am still troubled. The Messenger I sent to warn the Regency has not returned and by the way the Regency has acted the other night, I can only assume he never made it to his destination. Even worse are the supplies I have sent. They have yet to arrive and they are long over due.

But out of Despair, good fortune shines upon the defenders. The aid I requested from Trinsic has made it through. Lead by Lady Mia, The aid was the first bit of welcomed news in days. There was a bit of jubilation among the crowd when they found out why she was here. Britain will remember this act of kindness and I only hope that this aid will ease the suffering of the wounded and sick in time to move them all to a safer location.

But as hope fills me, the grim reality of what lays ahead returns to me. from my position, I can see the conflict to the north. I can hear the shouts in the distance, I can see the glowing from the magics used and the fires that burn. The invaders are slow to advance, but as fatigue sets in, the advance moves forward. Soon, I will have to order an evacuation of the refugees and those unfit to move may have to be left behind. Its not an order I want to give and the BlackWind in me tells me to defend to the last. But that would be unfair to those who still have the chance to move. I will hold out as best I can and hope that those unable to move can do so soon.

The Regency has been engaged to the north and occasionaly I ride there to check on the battle from the rear. So far, we seem to be holding firm. I must commend the Regent's forces. They are strong willed and brave to the end. I only hope their opinion of us is better than our last encounter.

It is no secret I do not trust them, But our goals are similar. Despite my personal feelings, I feel compelled to aid them when ever possible. Further more, I am surprised to see many individuals out fighting on their own free will. Mostly men and women who have homes within the city, I have to admire their tenacity. Truely the Britans are a strong and formidable people.

Well I must go now, I promissed Lalady I would take over for her once her shift was done. Its about that time now.
