Duke Blackwind,

First let me appologize for running out of the Trinsic meeting. It was my sincere thought that the Regent would act immediately on the reports of an impending invasion. Had I known it would sit on his list of things to discuss with the loyalists before acting I would not have left so abruptly. It was my honest belief that I would do more good to the people of Britain by leaving than by staying. I have learned much from my mistake and hope you can forgive my rushed departure.

I have seen first hand the infirmary you have set up at our Lord's Castle. For that I commend you. I am sure it took much advance preparation. My men on the front lines bring back word to me of rumblings amongst the men there of a stronger mass of invading troops on the way. I am sure this does not come as new information to you.

Spiritwood is a fair way down the road from Britain, near Trinsic. We have two barracks, and a prision with cots, as well as an infirmary. All could be used for those in need, I am sure the citizens of Spiritwood would open their homes as well. I welcome those able to make the journey. Please contact me as soon as you have a moment and we can discuss possibly relocating some of the citizens until the town is safe yet again.
