Alexis sat in her home crying one evening after a night at Hanse's. Marsil was looking for her and caught up with her to see what was wrong. She explained how being called fake and non drow made her feel unwanted within her own kind. She wanted to become like the others so she would be accepted. She tried once before but she could not keep it up.

Marsil told her of the one person he used a spell on that changed their personality. He was like Alexis and wanted the same thing. Marsil told Alexis that she could have the same spell performed on her. All she wanted was to be accepted and to feel like she belonged so she nodded to him and he went off to fetch torches and bones.

He layed them out in a large circle around her and told her to kneel. He then handed her a sheet of parchment with writting on it. He told her to begin to read them as he waved his hands about over her head.

"Vlos. Plithut. Olath", she read.

"Louder, you must show your aggression while reading it." Marsil told her.

She began to think about how she was treated and how angry she was at them. She thought of how much she wanted a change and to be accepted finally among her own kind.

"Vlos! Plithut! Olath!" she yelled.

The flames on the torches began to shake wildly and then all of a sudden died out. Marsil rested his hands at his sides and asked her if she felt any diffrent. She looked at him, then herself. She shook her head and stood up.

She walked to the edge of the roof and pulled out her kryss. Marsil could not see the wicked grin on her face as she spun around and swung her weapon at his arm. She left a large cut on his left arm where she hit and Marsil fell to a knee. Alexis ran off and Marsil tried to catch up but failed as she ran out the door and down the street.

As Marsil held his bleeding arm in pain he stared at the sheet he made her read. He let go of it and dropped it to the floor and asked himself, "What have I done?

Mairsil Glanced down at his arm covered in blood and closed his eyes, casting a healing spell on himself to seal the wound. He then picked up his crossbow and looked down the street in the direction Alexis had run.
The spell must have been too powerful for her.. Mairsil thought to himself.

Mairsil turned and walked back into the house quickly, coming out on the roof - surveying the area from a higher vantage point. He grimaced, she could be anywhere and if she would attack a house head of her own empire she could attack anyone. He brought his cloak around him, loading a bolt into his cross bow, and jumped off the roof into the allyway to begin his search.
