I am not worthy to carry a weapon.

That lady Angelique has the pages of Poet's that might tell where he is.

Why did she send me to the Orc Camp?

The orcs were very amused at my simple armor.

First they tell me Poet is there.

Then, when I ask to see him the smite me soundly.

Once recovered, I asked to see Poet again.

He is not there.

I am so confused.

Angelique has the papers.

I am a ronin without a guild.

Where should I go.

*crash (bottle of sake falls from backpack)*

Of course, I should go to the Brotherhood Garden.

*Tithes and leaves*

Having met with Tai at the Garden of Sin it became apparent that the three of them were on the same mission. Angelique had told the Magnate the story on how Silent Poet had written his exploits in a bloody journal which she had managed to get her hands on. All traces seemed to point to the Lighthouse on the new continent. The lone poet was too much of a skilled performer to let him just die, even if his personal quest was shameful to the rest of humanity. Isk thought that even though the poet had helped Ditto with her child, as the journal stated, he was worthy of redemption. “Plus who else would help with the play I’ve been trying to get performed for years.” Isk spoke under his breath as the trio walked the paths of the Yew prison towards a secret door which Angelique had stated would lead them to the secret lighthouse. Brushing aside any sign of guilt that he was helping Poet only to gain even more attention from the Play the bearded loon might perform he ran his hands across the stones until the passage way opened.

“This looks like a piece of his clothing” Tai stated as he lifted a bloody rag from beside the bed. It began to appear that Silent Poet had stayed at the Lighthouse within relative safety of the wyverns and scorpions that seemed to prowl in close proximity to the structure. Fanning the air the strange blue samurai noted the smell of Silent’s pipe in the air, with ale on his breath Tai made his discovery known.
“There is blood on the bed as well” Angelique mentioned as she approached the book case.
Having checked the glowing light source above the main room Isk descended the steps as Tai stated he would check the tunnel systems below.
Letting Angelique’s sharp eyes check for any further clues the porcelain masked magnate paused in the middle of the room and examined the strange symbol etched into the carpet.
“He wrote in this book” Isk turned to notice Angelique hold a small blue book in her hands. She traced her slender fingers through it, her long nail causing a light crease in the page as she read some of the words.
“I think we better look for Tai” the pair turned to the entrance and descended the ladder. As Isk’s feet hit the floor he sensed his wife miss her footing, a booted foot crashed down awkwardly onto the soil and even though she remained silent it was evident that they could not continue the journey any longer. Stumbling the pair returned to the Yew prisons with Angelique atop her mount to avoid the pressures of walking. Their part in the search for Poet seemed to be over, but what had happened too Tai? Where had Poet gone? The questions though relevant faded as Isk reflected on the thing that mattered most, the health of his wife.
