The ships set sail from the Magincian dock, their brown and crimson flags waving in the strong wind. Isk, the sponsor and creator of the Humanis Voice watched proudly from aboard his raider ‘the Legacy’ as his message was carried throughout the realm. As the last ship passed from his sight the Magnate reflected on all the work that had went into the pamphlet. He thought of the hundreds of human children that enjoy the cards the Magincians fashion and he thought of the parents of those children reading the articles over their morning breakfast.
Taking in a deep breath through the nose of his porcelain mask the warrior set his right arm on the railing of his ship. He had paralysed it accidentally by overdosing on a mixture of narcotics a month before the Regency election and more recently the limb was starting to return to its previous condition. In short, it was frustrating to get the Voice put together with just one arm especially with the busy stream of events that saw his going from one place to another. He often walked the streets of Magincia with his wife and Athlon, he occasionally fought the monsters out of Britain and participated in Loyalist discussions weekly. More recently he travelled to Haven in order to initiate the young into the ways of the realm.
“And tomorrow is a new day” he said to himself as he made his way off his ship.

The gypsy turns to her husband. "Dear, I am glad that issue is completed. It took so much more time with your hand still not mended. The children and I look forward to having you home at night again."
She smiles at her weary husband. |
