The city of Vesper had grown dark and a chill of evil now filled its watery surroundings. Quietly the dark Paladin leaned against the plaster wall of the councelers office, at nights fighting the front in britain and days lending aid to Vesper and vain searching the city over for signs of Lady Lia. But all he had found was sickness, and pain... townsfolk withering away in back alley-ways. He lent aid where he could, cutting his robes and kamishimo's up for bandages and applying liquor to sooth a weary mans pain. Even for one with motives as mysterious as he, this sight brought pain to his soul.

What could cause such a plague on what was once a bright and blossoming city, and where could the head of the Guardians of this city be?
The thoughts ran through his mind as he took rest by the large building.

His mouth dry from the search he took a long drink of the flask of white thunder he had brought from the gardens. Wishing he could do more than simply watch and lend a bottle of alcohol and bandages, he rose up and began his search once again. Perhaps she sought refuge outside of the city limits? Perhaps this plague has gone farther than this one city? All questions needing answered and so little time it seems to answer them.
