When Mallory saw the letter with the messenger from the Legion her heart leaped for joy! She had not seen Vaen for nearly a month, due to their different busy schedules, his training with his men and hers with the healers of Moonglow, but her love for him remained the same and she was assured his remained the same for her. The last letter she had sent to him had gone unanswered, so the sight of a Legion messenger was very welcomed. She thanked the lad and gave him a few gold coins along with some warm cookies and took the letter into the Tavern and went upstairs. She smiled a greeting and took a seat and opened the letter. She was puzzled at first, for the writing was not that of Vaen. She read the letter and was puzzled as to why this gentleman, Mister Majere, would be contacting her. Her heart skipped a beat and she hoped with all of her heart that this was not anything bad in nature. She immediately went back down stairs to the office area and took out a piece of parchment and wrote...

Dear Sir Majere,
I do remember you, and will be able to meet with you at your convinence. I shall be at the Garden this evening, if you wish to meet with me there.

Your friend in Virtue,
Mallory Rowdep
