After a long day of hearing the horrid news that the so called lightbringer Vaen was after his Rogue and long time friend Angel, he crawls into his bed with Angel laying next to him. Murdoc knew that he had to stay close to protect her... but not to close. He attempted to fall asleep but once again he awake suddenly in a cold sweat, the last few years he has been tormented by the curse that Bleen the Green had set upon him. For he hasn't slept well in the past 2 or 3 years.

Sitting there he begins to think...
What happened to the Angel I once knew? Did someone kill her and give me this... she just isn't that same as she used to. She's lost her spirit and her Rogue sense is quickly fading... What have I done... what haven't I done? Where did I go wrong... did I stay to far away from her when she came back.. did I take her to close.

After a moment of no thought his mind starts to go again.

When she came back she was all over me... like before but better then before... i helped her out... I got her started again... I got her jobs... I helped her make some money... I was the best friend she could ever want or need... and then this... a slap in the face.... "Here you go murdoc for all the hard work you've done for me, thank you." BAHHH I helped her out... I gave her what she needed... she stabs me in the back like this... They used to tell us.. if someone strayed from the Rogue path you'd destroy them... and bury your loses.... permanently. But she's been a friend... how could I do that to someone who was so close... Close?!?! she slapped me in the face... is this what close friends do? How could she... is this what I get for living the life I have? Is this what I deserve?...

After many hours of thinking he gets up and goes over his hitlist, for this day will be a long one... very long.
