Milady Molly

Word has reached my ears that The Royal Court of Luna and the ones known as the Druids have been working on a cure for this plague that havocs the lands on Vesper.

I do wish I could be of more assistance but as I am sure you have heard I with a few others of The Harpers have also conflicted this ailment. I do feel that the burden of this falls souly on my shoulders since it was The Harpers that has befallen beneath the eyes of the elders. It was we that mis-interpreted the ancient archives that we posses. We had the cure in our hands and in a time of haste we and we alone that have done this to the people.

Well enough of that, I and another elder have worked around the sun and have found a problem with our cure that we had created. For I hope that this time the readings of the archives are correct. The first time we used two specific ingredients that we now know where wrong.

Firstly we used the dust of two emerald green eyes of a champion dragon, we now understand that this was to be the ruby eyes of a champion dragon.

Secondly we used the dust from the scales of a leviathon, as stated these were the wrong items but we now know the words of the archives read to state that it is the scales of a serpentine dragon to be used..

I do hope these words find you quikly so as to save the people of Vesper and to prevent this from spreading any further.

Lor Rellik,

My heart suffers with you and the people of Vesper. Do not take this burden upon your heart. Have faith that the items will be gathered and thank the virtues that you had the presence of mind to return to the tomes and discover the error in time.

We will take this information and gain the regients for the cure as stated in the tomes. If you could forward a list of the rest of the ingredients via return pigeon, I will take it with me when we visit the pixie forrests. The Druids and I will go over the cure with them. They are wise and may be able to give us something to help to ease the afflictions until the complete cure can be achieved. They may have more inlightened information as well.

In the mean time prayers are with you and believe that the virtues will guide us to a swift gathering and rendering of the cure.

Yours sincerely,

Rellik woke from his bed that he had spent so much time envoloped within the past few days.

The days before hand he had noticed that the fever had broke that had taken him. But now the images of his friends and allies were now canvasing his mind in total deciet.

He had already run the remaining help from the house convinced they were only there to kill him in his sleep. As he sits up in the bed and looks around the room carefully scanning every corner, he notices the very barricades still remained that he placed in front of the door.

Rellik swiftly throws the covers off of him and reaches over and grabs a robe from the side of the bed to cover his body with. As he stands a dagger falls to the floor.

They will not get to me so easy.. He states to himself as he stands and begins to walk over to a desk.

As he looks down to his desk he mutters to himself.

What deciet and betrayal do these fools think I will fall for this time?

He begins to go through the papers and most seem not to trouble him any as he quikly dismisses them to the side. One catches his eye as he unrolls it and begins to read.

As Rellik reads over the parchment his eyes broaden with anger and he throws the parchment to the side.

She dares to ask for my secrets, I knew she was no diffrent then the rest. He angrily says out loud.

Rellik then quikly grabs a quill and ink and begins to write hastily..

Milady Molly

You wish to know the secrets I bear? You shall not use my secrets against me as I know you are already planning to do. You and that Council you sit upon have been wanting my downfall for sometime and now you use deciet to try and do so. You of all people that I have personally respected and backed on several occasions shall not see the death of me so easily.

Rellik quikly rolled the parchment and tied a string around it and walked over to his hawk by the window. He snuggly ties the cord to the leg of the hawk and leans in close and wispers it's destination to the bird. He turns to the window and swiftly releases the bird to spread it's wings into the wind as it heads to its point of destination.

Rellik turns quikly around and looks to his armour hanging upon the wall.

It may be time for me to seek thoughs that wish me ill will before they find me. Rellik mutters to himself as he glares at his armour and weapons..

She hastily opens the note and reads it frowning deeply. The change has begun. He is disoriented and paranoid, the next step in the actions of this odd illness. We must in all haste, get the cure items collected. She contacts Vaen and Leshok of the Legion and calls her guild members to come and aid in the quest for the cure. She contacts the Celebrant of the Church of the Virtues for a blessing on the quest they will set out on. All can not be done in one night but arrangements are made to complete the medicines once the main items are gathered.

She later that evening records the events of the evening to be sent to the council of Vesper.

Dear Lady Lia,

Today I received a distressing message from Lord Relik. He seems to be overcome by the dementia stage of the illness. Be careful of him and try to locate him and keep him confined. We have begun gathering the main ingredients for the cure. Here is the accounting of our quest for the items needed for the cure of your great peoples.

We met at the Royal Court of Light Guard Tower. A great many people were there to aid in the quest. Members of the House of the Gauntlet and the Legion of Justice headed out. They travel to the Church of the Virtues and receive a blessing from Celebrant Bartholomew and he asked that the Virtues guide our path.

We then traveled back to Luna where we checked our weapons and summoned our pets and crossed into the land of Shrines and amazing creatures. Appropriately we chose the Justice shrine and embarked towards danger through a mountain pass.

We traveled till we saw a hidden city and then passed through a cave to a great hidden valley. There, the most amazing dragons live in hiding from the world outside. Half-man, half-horses wander among them. Some call them Centaurs...amazing creatures. It pained us to have to take the lives of such noble beasts but it was to save the lives of those poisoned by this plague. We killed only what was needed and found the greatest of the Serpentine beasts. We felled the creature and carefully removed the scales of the paragon of beasts, carefully wrapping them in leather gathered from the creature.

Traveling back the way we came and carrying the items we came for we headed for the Shrine of Spirituality for bandages and potions to be used. As we arrive some of us paid homage to the shrine. We met with Savhanna and she sent us south to the healers hut where we met Lady Lily Prowers. She gave us the items we needed.

Plans were made while there, as Maelwyn of the Druids met us and she arranged to meet again on Wednesday night and complete the task. Hopefully we are not too late.

Yours in Light and Virtues,
