Tired, cold, hungry and yet still as restless as she was the day she killed her first mark, Raven began to understand the kind of justice this land commanded. It is unlike the Justice she has come to know back home in Zento. Now she was on the run. A fugitive of Yew. No doubt of Luna as well. She is known to them now and any further attempts will easily be reconized.

She ducks behind the bushes as a knight clad in dark armor, sword in hand, riding on a brown mount drew near. He was searching for his quary. The heat from his breath could be seen in the chilly morning air. The Horse reared as if signaling to the knight its uneasyness. The knight remained gazing into the woods hoping this assassin would show herself. But Raven knew she did not stand a chance against an armored oponent. Especially one on horseback. She took a quick glance around her location and saw a small crawl space under a fallen tree. the thickets had overgrown the area a bit and it would provide better cover from unwanted eyes. With her last dart, she used her fukiya and aimed for a distant tree. the colored dart's connection to the tree drew the Knights attention just enough for her to change into a rabbit and scamper to the spot under the fallen tree.

The Knight looked back and only noticeing a rabbit running by. just as quick, Raven hid once she got to her spot. wasting no time to morph into a large serpent. The Knight of Blackwind was not fooled by the rabbits guise. He hoped down and began to reach into the hole. The last thing he remembered before his eternal sleep was the feeling of angony and pain as the venom of her bite peirced his gauntlet.

Now she had time to rest and time to think. She would make the Duke of Blackwind pay for issuing the bounty on her head.It was only a matter of time.
