|
Beowulf walked casually through the village of Cove. His eyes looked towards each of the fighters and citizens. The town seemed rough, and well damaged from the recent raid. The orcs had crossed the boundaries with the ogres and trolls and took over the small village. Luckily over time the fighters fought them back, but the left over damage was terrible.
Beowulf sighed slightly realizing he should have tried to aid in some way. He knew now however, he could. He would raise money for the town, and aid in their repairs, crops for the farmers, and other utilities to get the village up and running again.
He looked at each of the fighters again, and it struck up. He would hold a tournament for the fundraiser; all the profit made would go towards these starving folk. He nodded slightly and headed off to make preparations.
"I know exactly where I want to have it...I just hope he doesn't kick me off the Island before I propose the idea." Beowulf thought to himself. |
