Beowulf sat comfortably behind his large stone table. He thought carefully to himself. His eyes lowered to the poster he had made to announce the tournament.


Ladies and Gentlemen,

Because of the raid that was infested upon Cove by orcs, orges and trolls, The Benevolent Hand of Compassion is going to their aid. Buildings are ruined and the crops for the farmers have been wiped nearly clean. A tournament will be held in order to raise money to aid these people in need.

The tournament will be held on Legion Island, in the Legion stronghold on Tuesday April 5, at nine past the eastern sun. Gates will be provided from Poets if needed.

There will be jousting, warrior fighting on foot, and mage vs. mage fighting. The entry fee will be 10,000 gold pieces, and an additional 5,000 pieces for each category that they wish to participate in. The winner of each will earn a prize.

This is a challenge to those who think they are the elite warriors of Sosaria. This is a chance for respect and winnings of gold. This is the first step to making a respected village brought back to their feet.
