Hello my friend, I have recieved your letter. I did have intententiones on coming to Yew and I see what you are saying. I'm confused about a permit and paying before a man to the people speaks. Number one you have a man pay then decide if he can speak? That seems as if you want gold and I hope a man of light and honor like yourself isn't seeking for. Also is this money you would happen to get from me, where would it go? Will it go to the poor in Yew, to the rich of Yew, or to the Government of Yew. I will not support gold for the not needy while people suffer to get food on their table, for I will support everything for the people.

Sir my message is not anarchy, or disfortune to the government but light shed onto the dark. I will not force anything but let the path show its way. I know the misfortunes of the people in Yew but we all as one in Sosaria has had problems. Britian with the constant invasions from Minax, or the beast of Despise. Vesper now just recovered from the attack by G'Thucks gang. Jhelom with the lack of attention from the government, Nu'jelm from the lost of their queen.Cove with its attacks leaveing the people in poverty. Also the invasion at Moonglow a few years back. Even I had struggles as bad as the people in your city. In the past of the one realm era in Britian, I had to surivive with band of muderous gangs killing all who are in the shade of light. Also I was a student at West Yew University where Orcs constanly attacked nonstop, and the threats of the old Ebon Skull takeing over. I remember the old government of your city lead by Krythan, for it was the most organized city council of all.

Sir I would like to make a public speech in your city with your blessing, even you there at the speech because I want all who want to know there. I assure you I am not an anarchist but a man speaking of Light.

The old government of Yew no longer exist. Yew under Krythan is a time of the past. The Commonwealth has won back much of the lands formerly known as Grishnakopolis. As for the West Yew University, I should remind you that I served as its security back then. I was a member of the West Yew Militia. So do not preach to me the values of our old ways. I know what they are. It was by my own blood, that you could make use of the university.

The new government that is in place has much more going for the Township of Yew. Our people are at peace and would like to remain that way. What is it you hope to acomplish by speaking to them? You plan to make a promise to them that your going to be some kind of a bringer of hope? Promises mean nothing here to us. Only action. I am where I am because I was on the front lines fighting the orcs. I am here because I vowed that while Yew is under my watch, that I'll do everything under my power to keep it safe. So far, I have lived up to that vow.

We have established laws for a reason. It is to prevent the chaos which has had a firm grip on this town for so long. In the end, you will have said your peace and have gone. All while I and those who have made Yew what it is remain and stand vigilent against those who would cause us harm. So do not sit there and think for a moment that I am going to cheat Yew out of anything. I have sacrificed too much already for the citizens here. The very notion of what you were implying in your letter is enough just to turn you away from our town. If your looking for a friend in Yew, your going about it the wrong way. I do not take kindly to those who claim to be all knowing and promise the moon and then disapear the next minute. Hope is what held these people together. I will not let you destroy that because you think your some kind of gift to the people.

When you come this way, be prepared to pay for that permit. I should remind you. My reach goes beyond the borders of Yew. It is only a matter of time should you chose to defy our laws. Break them and you WILL get caught. So just pay for the permit and say your peace and be done with it. Otherwise, don't bother comming to Yew.

I am happy that you dedicated your sevices to the people of Yew and you are looked honorably for it. I was praising you for your acts yet you took offense. Many souls in the Yew milita I owe the reason I attend the great West Yew University.

I wish to speak to the people of the light rays that touch Sosaria instead of the dark that is covering it. I understand that Yew is at peace for once and I'm happy but for how long will it be for the shade runs over the city? I want to hear frok the people themselves of what they need. For you call for action but there has been none against the shadows of Sosaria. You are hero of fighting orcs, but you are where you are because the lord of light put you there and hopefully it is a good reason, so far it is. Many have fought in the front lines but you were chosen by light.

Have no worry I will not break the people of Yews hope for I know when I used to live there that's all we had. I am not acusseing you sir but asking what will you do. I am not only looking for friends but those who will unit under light against the forces of evil.

When I come to you I will pay for this permit for my money will not go to a man over others but to the people of Yew. You only have reach for what the lord of light has given you and his reach goes far beyond yours. A man like yourself giving credit himself while he forgot who has put him there. I speak in the name of light and with that I will seak anywhere the lord of Light wishes for me to go.
