Molly

The Royal Court of Light, Luna met Thursday May 12th in their usual location. At such time I, Molly, convened the meeting. Previously I had been sent a letter which I intended to read to the Court.

The writer of this letter attended the meeting and I asked if he would rather convey in his own words the reason for his letter. He agreed to do so. While he was speaking one of the friends of the Court, namely the Duke of Yew who customarily attends the meetings on a regular basis arrived at the meeting.

Upon his arrival the man Thrax was speaking and answering questions for the gathering. The Duke stood for a time listening then he interupted what was being said by the speaker.
Words were exchanged and then demands were made for his arrest. I did not hear any such demands but determining from my personal knowledge of the incident in question I called for his arrest.

He was accused of kidnapping in Yew. I personally knew of the circomstances as the one that was kidnapped was to be the Judge in the trial of Isk vs Myself. I must say that the other members of the Royal Court were unaware of my knowledge of the crime Yew had accused him of.

Had I heard in all the confusion that the Duke demanded my action, as was just this eve related to me, the Duke would have been asked to leave. I was under the impression that he was coming to the meeting as usual and that upon seeing Thrax there asked for permission and requested the Luna Court to arrest him and extridite him to Yew for trial.

This being now public knowledge, let it be known, I am penning a letter this very eve resigning from the Yew Commonwealth, on the grounds that I am noone's puppet and will not be a party to any such antics in the future.

I, in my dicision to call for his arrest, was thinking of many things.

One that he was accused and that I had first hand knowledge of the incident.

Two that should Yew be the one to arrest him, I could not be certain with their new laws that he would come out unscathed and if he were arrested here he would be assured of a fair trial with a jury of his peers.

Justice is one of the vurtues I hold dear and I am most concerned that justice be done. In that thought I came to the conclusion that an arrest was warented not just for the fact that he were accused but for the fact that without a trial he could end up the vitim under Yew edict.

Please be assured that I am appologizing for the actions as a host publicly to Sir Thrax at the Royal Court and my actions in no way reflect on the other members of that court. I also appologize for not making clear my knowledge to the Court of the incident in question and for not involving them in my decision making process. The Court members were not a party to my mind when I made these choices and should not be grouped together with me in those choices.

I guarenteed Thrax' safety from harm and I did follow through with those including requiring all to disarm at the meeting. Being arrested or detained for questioning in the mind of this officer does not constitute danger and if it was felt that it did I appologize for any misunderstanding.
