The Valorian government thought that this was the time to attack Blackrock and hopefully put an end to the war. Cear couldn't lead an attack on Valoria because he was labled a murderer by the Brittanian government which meant he couldn't leave Blackrock. So it was the perfect time to put full force at Blackrock, but it wasn't going to be easy. Everyone trained day and night for the battle and invested alot of money in weapons and armour, even a hired sword like Vaen Swiftar. The men were training at Zento Bank and a women comes up to them. She explains how good she is and she can take a whole army by herself, also how she had beaten Cear Dallben. William began to take interest and picked her up as part of the Lion Guard, her name was Rachel. The next day Rachel was missing and reports that she left the Guard. Everyone found her at Zento Bank and asked what was going on. She explained she was trying to get into the Cabalist ranks to back stab them, but they didnt let her in for what her sister did. So Rachel entered the guard again but Ash Keeper of Lions Gate didnt trust her and had his eye on her. Everythng was set and Victory looked like in the Lions favor.

The day of the battle William and Ashigaru was doing early mourning training to get ready for the battle. Latter on that night everyone gathered at Jhelom even the hired sword Vaen Swiftar. They all went over the plan, spread out and attack. They all went to Blackrock for the battle, William asked them to surrender but of course they didn't. They went over the terms and went to the battle field. Time went on and stares were at each other, Rachel said when will we start William thought that there will be a signal which it should have been but they attacked him right away. William was healing and swinging until the field was set on fire and flames, explosions, and lighting knocked William out. Rachel was by his side, why were they all focused on him and not her. Vaen was stabbing and moving, Ash was the next to get knocked out, Then Dominon as his feet were stuck in the dirt. Ashigaru was holding on until he was knocked out by Rachel!!! Everyone was in shock for Rachel was a spy and backstabber, and that turned the momentum of the war Vaen was holding his own until Rachel made the last strike to knock him down. ZOGs ally Arcanis was wiped out but the Lion Knights lost the battle. Rachel ws indeed a cabalist and it effected them in the war.

Before William left he cam face to fac with his lost son Plantauxe who was a Cabalist

Plantuaxe="Why did you leave my mother and I"

William="Because I found work elsewhere besides Umbra"

Plantauxe screamed out="YOU COULD HAVE TOKEN US WITH YOU BUT YOU DIDN'T YOU JUST WENT ON NOT THINKING ABOUT US.

William="I'm sorry my son I wish to make it up to you but I see I can't but son I was dark myself but then I saw that isn't the way to g, it will only hurt you trust me, leave the cabalist leave Cear."

Plantauxe="WHAT are you blind father Dark is the wa to go look around you are a messanger from the Light yet know one follows you. YOu ask to get in the Island Nations but they keep you on hold and probably laughing at you. You speak on what the whole purpose of light is but meanwhile the other light laughs and hates you. The light isnt unified and never will be because they are ignorant of it and they have more ambition then the dark ever will but we are unified because we listen ot each other. Why should I leave the Cabalist they look out for me and Cear has been more of a father to me then you ever had been."

William="I know it's not going to be easy, life isn't easy my son but we must fight on. The light isn't unified and yes it looks like it will not happen but it has been decided that it will in time. Dark is unified in a way but they will come down because like you they think its easy instead of hard. The lord of light said that it will not be set on easy or normal, even hard but all three at different times, you must jdge when and where and act. The dark doesnt understand that which is why they fall when they are in power. I understand by you following Cear, I had a leader like him many of times and so will you my son it's a part of life."

Plantauxe="Well one day father I will be powerful more powerful then you, Lord British, Vaen, Tarothin, even the Avatar himself, when I do I will have power that Mondain cant even match and I will rule this world and make it my hell. The Lord of light may have to send his Avatar and when he does I will kill him and the world will be mine and if you are in my way, you will have to die as well."

Plantauxe left to his house and William left to Jhelom.

The sea was still near Blackrock, and the city itself stood quiet. There was barely a sign of life save the occasionaly birds' songs. The quiet before the storm hung heavy.

With his eyes to the ocean, mist from the crashing waves pouring over him, images of death coursed through his mind. War was familliar to him, very familliar. The hundreds he laid waste too, the voices, crying out for mercy, that he had silenced. He lived for it, he lived for the destruction.

The time was nearing as Toren entered Castle Blackrock and made his way to the roof. Cear's words were droned out by his own thoughts, and the briefing went ignored. His gaze remained fixed on the waters of Blackrock as the sound of the teleporter chimed a repeatedly untill footsteps approached him and a familliar voice rang out.

"This will be a glorious night, eh Toren?"

Glancing to his side quickly, he cought sight of Cear, and gave a slight nod.

"It should be... if we do it right."

Cear responded with a nod and turned to the teleporter, Toren followed.

The congregation had already formed downstairs. The Lion Knights stood outside and the others of Zog lined the doorway. Cear armed up and joined the line. More talking ensued, most of which went ignored again, by Toren. The terms were set and the sense of pride, and arrogance blanketed William.

They formed up outside, William's men straight across from them. Toren grasped is sword firmly as he stared over the troops William had brought. All but one of the faces were of people he knew, and had fought before. He couldn't help but think that this was going to be easy.

Suddenly a mantra was called out from the other side.

In Jux Mani Xen

The target was not of the Cabal however. A red energy poured over William as Rachel, followed by many of the Cabal rushed him.

Explosions covered William as a large wall of flame engulfed him. He fell almost instantly.

Toren charged past, directly at the merenary the Knights had hired. Vaen parried his attack with little effort. Toren knocked him from his horse, and jumped from his own, and the two men squared off.

Toren lunged with a downward cross-slash.

Parry.

Vaen responded with a quick jab towards his attacker's ribs.

Wiff.

The two lunged at one another. Toren struck through Swiftar's armor with a quick lung and thrust. While his arm was exposed Vaen took advantage and sliced his attacker in the armpit, causing poison to course through Toren's blood.

They both retreated from one another and mounted as quick they could. Vaen placed his hands over his stomach and cried out.

"Obsu Vunli."

Toren quickly wrapped the top of his arm with a bandage and shouted at it.

"Expor Flamus."

The fight was dieing now. Explosions rung out through the sceen and the field was set completely ablaze. As the last of the Knights fell, all focus turned to Vaen. He was boxed off, Mairsil was the first to strike.

"Kal Vas Flam."

The words rung out as a cloud of seering energy poured over Vaen. Cear lunged out and thrust a poison covered dagger deep into his arm. An arrow flew past Toren's head and directly into thier enemy's chest. Lunging forward Toren thrust his blade in just under where the arrow came to rest. Quickly, the woman who had begun the assault on William sent a lightning quick strike at him, finally finishing off the powerful man.

They were victorious, though no victory comes without cost. Ceinwyn ab'Arawn confronted Cear. She unleashed fury on him, in the form of words as she blathered on about the meaninglessness of the fight they just held. Again, Toren was ignoring the words of others as he began to drink one of the corpses dry. However, the last of Ceinwyn's words were to pertinent to ignore.

"I resign Cear. I am through with this."

Those were quickly followed by more words from her.

"Kal Ort Por."

Cear returned to Castle Blackrock, victorious and defeated. Toren entered soon after.

"Toren, I don't understand. People come and go here, and never hold devotion."

Toren paused a moment before responding.

"Simply because someone says something Cear, doesn't mean it is true. Just because someone promises something, doesn't mean you can hold them to it. You're just not picky enough."

Cear stood there silently a moment, pondering the words.

"You're right, I'm not. Though this is my third day waking, so if you'll excuse me, I must get some sleep."

With a nod, Toren exited.
