Greetings from Sanctus,

I received the information that was passed from your representatives last eve. We did investigate the matter, however, we did so as a courtesy and not to indicate that we recognize the Dark Order as any official government. As far as the City-State of Sanctus is concern the Dark Order is nothing more than a band of cut throat and thieves who worship chaos.

As for the findings of the investigation the report is outlined below:

The citizen in question has not been found, apparently from what reports we have recieved is that the man was a commoner with no other family. Merchants travelling the same road indicated that they recognized a Sanctus crest on the cart the man was pulling. The also witnessed a group of three men surround the single man and strike him senseless to the ground. Then they tossed him in the cart and proceed onward with the cart and the poor fellow. The witnesses indicated that the clothing resembled an earlier man's clothing who was from the Dark Order. The merchants assumed since they were travelling in Dark Order territory that it was right to assume that it was a Dark Order patrol seeking tribute for safe passage through their lands.
