I pray that this missive finds you in good spirits. I do apologize for the lack of communication between us. Though I have not forgotten about you, friend. Mayhaps I will be able to meet with you soon. There are many changes I must speak with you about. When you do become available, please send a reply, and I shall meet with you as soon as possible.

Naissia jumped off her horse and headed into the inn. She had been staying at the inn to give herself time to think. She knew what she felt for the man who had become her life line. She was greeted at the door by Sadira, whom handed her the missive. Naissia gazed upon the writing noting it to be Rufus' right off. She thanked Sadira and quickly made her way up to her room. She quickly took off her gloves and gorget so that she could rest abit more comfortably at the writing desk. She opened the missive with care, as to not rip anything. Her heart raced, as she feared it may be something horrid. Her gaze slowly scanned over the wordings. A smile curled about her lips slightly as a knowing look came to her. She had a feeling that whatever the changes are mentioned, that they would be grand. She saw it in his eyes each time she had met up with him. He was not fulfilling his needs..no matter how hard he tried to convince himself and others. She quickly wrote a response.


Dearest Rufus,
I am at least glad to hear that you are still alive and well. I am sorry for not leaving word with you regarding to my disappearance. You know the demons I have been battling. I had to get away and try to figure it all out. I, however, am anxious to hear what changes have crossed your path. My time is, as always, yours. I am available anytime you wish. Though in about four days, I will be attending some family business. But before and after, I am available. Please send word at what time is convient for yourself.
