"..Another Sanctus merchant has disappeared within the vicinity of cove" read the report. Major Mordegan looked up from the parchment out toward the body of men training within the bounds of the City of Trinsic.

Looking over to General Zarlox, Major Mordegan motions and speaks.

" Sir, it has happened again in cove"

"Another merchant?" asked the General

"Aye Sir, I shall take small force to covetous and probe the boundaries of the brigands who may be responsible for this."

"Make it happen Major"nodded the General.


The patrol was formed numbering only a few. The scouts went ahead and prepared the necessary rune to gate the force into the cemetery near cove. A gate opened and the remainder of the force moved through into cove territory.

Patrol probe along the the treeline, looking, listening for any indication of who might be the culprits behind the abductions. To the south and group of men appeared making their way towards the Sanctus patrol.

*The Dark Order Approaches" the Major thought. "Make ready men, we have company!"

The Major noticed the infamous leader of this band of cut throats as Tarothin Armun, a self-professed Knight approach toward him.

"Ye are trespassing on my lands. Pay 20 gold per man and ye shall not be harmed" stated Tarothin Armun "if ye refuse ye shall spend a week in jail and then be hanged at the gallows"

Major Mordegan lifted the visor to his helm, looking directly at the brigand leader.

"The Order of Sanctus does not recognize the Dark Order as owners of propriety in these parts. We consider thee to be nothing more than brigands and thieves whom harm the innocent for ill-gotten gain!"

"Now we have received reports that our citizen merchants continue tovanish in this vicinity." stated the Major "I belive that you are behing these disappearances, and I shall find proof of it!"

"My dear Major"stated Tarothin Armun" you are simply out numbered, pay the tax and be on thy way"

Tarothin's men chuckled in the background.


" We will NOT pay a single coin, prepare to die brigand scum!"

The battled erupted, swords clanged and shields collided. The sound of men falling in agony engulfed the forest. The Sanctus patrol was defeated at the hand of the Dark Order. The Major healed his men and paid the gold as he was duty bound as a true knight of honor.

"Be warned Tarothin Armun, if ye are responsible for these disappearances we will be back in greater numbers next time." angrily stated Major Mordegan as he tossed a pouch of gold coin to the ground.

"Be off with ya now" chided Tarothin as the Major ordered his men back to Sanctus proper.


*This is not over...thought Baron as he made his way back to his home to tend wounds and write his reports of the days actions.

I was outside the Command Center with a group of Dark Order members, talking about the number of Jailed people each week. And that the numbers have decreased a lot with the number of Cove citizens being jailed. But the number's of Non-Cove citizens increasing. When at that moment two members on patrol of our border's came riding up to us in a hurry.

Nico and Ricky both yelled out, "The Order of Sanctus! They are on the boarder by the cemetary!"

We ride there to find out ther was indeed a party of members of Sanctus. Words were exchanged. The main things stading out in my mind was them discrediting us as knights calling us brigands, and them saying they are missing another citizen. I told them that if their citizens risk comming here they need very well pay the tax or they will be sent to jail. If not paid in a weeks time they will be hung. Thinking in my mind what he called us infuriated me: Brigands. We hold more nonor then they do. So what if we are considered evil, that does not diminish us being knights.

They asked if they would be allowed to go to the road without the need for them to harm us. I was warning them that if they do not pay the tax they will be attacked. That not to squander thier lives on something so small. And if theydid not they will be attacked.

The Mayor yelled out NEVER!! and then as I was motioning my men to attack, they surprised me and attacked us. This small band against a group of Dark Order? Kill them was all I needed to say and fall they did. I healed the mayor telling him to gather his men and leave.

Then giving me some warning they left.

"Fall out to the command center!"

When we all arrived I told them god work on tonight, that we will need to set up more patrols on our borders. It seems that these so called law embodied people only know how to follow their own laws and not respect others. Is it not enough that they interfered with us from taking Luna, so much so that they come to our very land making threats. I guess I had not made myself clear to Isilmae. They should really think of the safety of their own town and the people that live there...
