Dan entered his new home, and glanced upon the room to be sure that he was alone. Seeing that he was, he silently layed on the table a small booklet, with the title "When Lovers Cross". He turned for the door, and looked back to the booklet with a grin.

"This will be a nice surprise."

Who's eyes of emerald sparkle, through caves where light is dim?

Who's aim is true towards any foe, whom if caught, their fate grim?

Who's loyalty to clan so strong, she'd fight for all her kin?

This woman with her bow to side, this woman's name is Syn.

Syn moved into the indoor stable and removed her mare's bridle,"easy girl I'll return you to the stables soon enough..,"she said as she put fresh hay down then moved to get a bucket of water from the outside barrel.After walking back in she poured the water into the trough then set the bucket down,"there that will hold you until I return you to the stables....,"she said as she ran her hand down the mare's neck then turned and moved into the dining room her eyes falling instantly to the red pouch on the table,"what did he leave this time..,"she said to herself as she removed her kasa and set it down on the chair then slipped off her cloak and picked up the bag then sat down in one of the chairs,her eyes falling instantly to the bow,"oh Dan...,"she said as tears sprang to her eyes,"why did you do this...,"she said to herself as she took it out and stopped as she saw the book.After setting the bow down she lifted out the book and leaned back in the chair,her eyes moving over the words making the tears that had sprung to her eyes now slide down her cheeks,"Oh Dan....,"she said as she closed the book and held it to her chest thinking of what to say or do when he returned home.
