The former laboratory of Zh’azhak was freezing, the vials, the tables, the books all thrown into some obscure corner on one of the lower levels. Elegant furniture, dazzling tapestries depicting various pale faced humanoids in various scenes of conquest, and the faint scent of roses.

This was now the makeshift refuge of the great Ne’Sveti family’s delegates from the Northern Land of Kos Heb. Three wolves among sheep once more.

While two of the three family members seemed to be out on business, the fiend, Radovan sat gazing into one of the tapestries deep in thought.

All was going as planned, just as his cousin has for seen the welcome received was all but warm. But those here within this “Black City” with a shred of power quickly while privately opted to work hard to make all the dreams of the Family come to pass. Four eager friends found amid a city of ignorant half necromancers. Yes, all webs were woven in shadow still, the situation and the setting too volatile to reveal old alliances restored and intentions renewed yet.

Even the pursuit to eradicate the Tzimisc went well, while in truth that meant little to Radovan, but he played the part. It allowed for a cover, a veil to be placed over his other more discreet actions. One thing was certain; the pot was finally ready to boil over. His throned friends within the Cult had done all that was required.

With an amused chuckle he began to pen several letters no doubt meant for the denizens of Kos Heb.
