"Damn bastard"

...he muttered after he had peered over the corner towards the Bowyer Shop's front door, watching the man with long silver hair stand in front of the doorway. Slowly, he reached his hand down to his kryss, but merely kept his palm upon it, keeping it at the ready. He didn't want to be discovered yet, not now, not after he had promised to respect her independence. He squinted his eyes as he heard him speak from far away, perking his half-elven ears to hear them better....

After hearing them exchange words, and the man's bow, he gave out a slight sigh of relief and moved his hand off of his kryss. He wouldn't know what to think of his dear beloved, if she had already gotten herself in a tight spot within the very walls of Zento!

As he watched them, he could tell that he was no enemy, and with that thought he glanced to the man's hair to realize who he was. "SilverFlame", he muttered as she walked out and leaned onto the tree. Dan had heard of this man, this "lieutenant" of Syn's, but he truly did not know what to expect. After all, she had only then brought him up at dusk, and any man would have been suspicious, or so Dan tried to convince himself. Leaving his gaze of her for but a moment, he moved off from the corner and crouched behind a bush to look up at the stars. He knew he had to have more faith in her, but his very actions that he himself was committing this eve proved that wrong. This..."deception"...he was playing was preposterous, especially from the very fact that he had proposed to her but only a few nights before. A proposal, a sign of trust, love, and turning point in their relationship...

Dan closed his eyes, and opened them again. He had to press on, for there is never any time to spare when one is to guard in the shadows...

...and with that he lowered his head, paying attention to the scene, only to notice his beloved trotting away to the direction of the moongate. "Damn!” he cursed in his mind, realizing that he should have been paying more attention. His emotions could not let him lose his love; his doubts must be no more. He quickly skimmed the area for any Tademori or Ruby Dragon patrols, but saw none, as usual.

He shook his head and grinned, hoping only the best for what he estimated from that observation. "The Yakuza and the Alliance. Either way, one must prevail, for the sake of Makoto.” he thought to himself, as he quickly slipped through the shadows, after his beloved Synful.

Syn stopped at the moongate and looked back to SilverFlame as he rode up on his white gelding,"I have one stop I wish to make before contiuing on....,"she said as he nodded his head slowly,"aye your highness...,"he said as they rode into the moongate.Syn wanted to stop and speak to Danie...Dan's half sister..Syn wanted to tell her about the proposal a few days before when she and Dan were at the garden."Your highness...,"she heard Silver call out causing her to turn around."yes?,"she asked as she reined in her horse and slid off to walk him some,"tell me about your fiancee....,"he asked as he too slid off his horse and moved to walk beside her.

Hearing this question Syn blushed and smiled softly,"he's a good man...stern when its needed but gentle when its not..he's half elven like me and has green hair...,"she said as he nodded his head.Syn watched him a moment then sighed softly as she looked down to her engagmentment ring,"I'm really nervous....our wedding will take place as soon as I return...I merely hope I'm a good wife..,"she said as Silver laughed softly."Your Highness I'm sure you will make a great wife..but I must ask you this..why didn't you ask him to join you?" Syn stopped and looked to him with tears in her eyes,"I couldn't live with myself if something happened to him...but I really wish I had...,"she as Silver nodded,"I doubt he would have cared much for himself your highness...,"he said as Syn bite her lip and nodded.

"Your right Silver...perhaps I will have Danie ask him to meet us at the docks in Skara Brae.....,"she said as Silver nodded his head again then looked towards the Garden as they approached it,"this is a very nice place...,"he said as she nodded her head again,"the people here are wonderful...I've grown quite attached to them all..,"she said as she led her stallion into the stable and tethered him,"wait here need to find out if she is here...,"she said then moved to the teleporter and onto the second floor,"Danie are you here...?,"she called out as she moved to the bunk room and waited.

He had watched.

"Skara Brae, eh?", thought Dan, having nimbly plotted himself in a tree a few feet away from their earlier conversation. That information was all he needed, and considering it was Skara Brae, he knew those streets like the back of his hand. What better an area? A smile peeled from his lips as he watched them talk more, and soon he heard the name "Danie" mentioned in the conversation. For whatever reason his half-sister was to be involved with her, he hadn't the slightest clue, but she might be able to cover for him and let him follow her, thus following Synful, which would be easier for him.

"Bah, no use making a plan", he reminded himself. He watched them as they quickly pulled out and used a runebook, then left Dan's sight. For now, he could not watch over them, but he truly hoped that he could find them later in the docks. With that, he hopped from the branch, and quickly and quietly sprinted to the moongate, hoping he hadn't been spotted in such an open tactic.

Danie yawned and rubbed her eyes. Something was waking her up, but what could it be at this hour? She quietly moved her legs to the side of her bunk, and walked over to the door. She had been sleeping in her nightgown lately, due to cold winds brewing through the air. Slowly she pulled the door to the side, and looked about her awaker. "Synful?", she said, obviously confused at what she could want from her, being as late as it was. Synful looked to Danie, almost apologetically, and explained the situation and that she needed her help fetching Syn's lover. Danie merely raised in brow, half of her not believing what a simple task it could be, and the other half with curiosity.

"I'll try to find him, Synful" , she said as she pulled some of her hair back behind her ear. Synful gave her a sudden hug, as if a very warm thanks, helping Danie how important it was to Syn. Danie smiled, being glad that she could help her soon to be sister-in-law in need. Synful left moments later, and told Danie where they were to rendezvous at. After that, and nodded her head and left, as quickly as she had come. After she had gathered on her magery clothes, and equipped what she needed if she were to be gone for long, she wove her hands above the open Runebook, flipping the pages. Once she had found it, she placed her palm upon the page, closed her eyes, and muttered her spell, "Kal Ort Por".

Hearing the magic around her, she opened her eyes to see that she was in front of their home. Slowly she walked up the steps, and peered inside to see if he was already up, but all she heard was the dense silence. Something felt odd about it, so she tucked out her spellbook and flipped the pages to a spell. Once she had found it, she placed her palm upon it and spoke the word "In Lor". Magic flowed up into her eyes, allowing her to see the surrounding, but what she saw from this only drew out more curiosity. Niether Syn nor Dan's things were here, so did that mean Dan had left? Where could he have gone?

She had to tell Synful, and she had to tell her before she left. Quickly, she used her method to get here to teleport to Skara Brae, hopefully being able to find Synful and tell her of her news. With within but a few moments, she was there, but noticed an odd figure leaning upon the wall, as the moonlight's shadows drenched over him. Before she could make a move, he spotted her, and dashed off through the streets. "Who the hell was that?" she wandered, and instinctively gave chase to him.

Their chase had ended upon the docks of Skara Brae, after she had cast a Paralyze spell upon his figure. Having him unable to move, she strode up to the man covered in black clothing, and stepped out in front of him to see his face...

Dan was surprised as well, seeing that his half-sister had been his captor. They both looked upon each other, confused, and soon she released her spell. Free from restraint, he stood up firmly and looked to her. He peered upon her eyes, feeling her confusion of the moment, and merely chuckled and gave her a wink. That, in itself, gave Danie the advice she needed to not worry a thing about him. "Are you watching her?",she asked bluntly. Dan gave a quick nod, and grinned to her. "My reasons are my own, sister. I'd appreciate it if you helped me along, just this once." She smiled, and nodded to him. He had made an ally in his watch, and knowing full well how Danie could take care of herself, he walked up to her and gave her a light hug.

Suddenly, Dan's ears porked has he heard the sound of horse hooves approaching. Letting off his grasp, he slipped off from her sight altogether and before she could realize it, she was alone.

Danie could only smile at the whole situation. Her brother's clever plot would be fun indeed to watch. Folding her arms, she looked around to see any hint of him in the scene, and then looked to the oncomers...
