Max,

My dear friend, how are you? I wish my writing to you would bring you more news that would please you, but alas this is the only news I have. I am to disembark from these lands, unsure of when nor where I am going, but it will happen. This is the last you will hear from me, for after this letter, I will be beyond contact, thus I fealt I needed to send you a proper farewell, or atleast the best I could. After you read this, you may write in response if you wish, write on the back of this letter, the paper is magical and I will recieve, for pigeons shall not be able to reach me.

Max my friend and brother, as I leave these lands I don't leave anything truely behind, I guess I have no legacy so to say, but yet I realize I do. Max, you are the legacy I have, you were truely a student to me, for you looked to me as a teacher. I only hope whatever you took from me will keep you strong, strong in your sword arm and strong with the Virtues. Your a truely good person Max and I have faith you are capable of grand and wonderous accomplishments. You say you are not a paladin, but you are more virtuous at heart then many who would call themselves paladins.

This my friend is why I have entrusted you with the sword of the Heavens, for I have faith in you, and the goodness within you. Last we spoke you were coming into your own, the League was becoming its own force in the world. This time more than ever, should you remember the teachings of the virtues. When you grow in power, never forget Humility and Honesty, be true to yourself and to others. Never forget Compassion and Justice, only raise your sword in righteous causes and remember life is sacred. Keep in your heart Valor and Honor, for these are paramount within you my friend. Finaly, within your heart and actions may you know Sacrifice, the giving of yourself to help others.

May your spirituallity always guide you along the path of light and keep you safe from the darkness. I bid you farewell Max my good friend, my comrade, and my student. I take great pride in the man I saw you become, take the lesson you learned from me, take the sword I have entrusted you with, and take my best wishes for your future. Good bye Max, and in the words of the old order of the Stormguards, "Hold Honor High"

Your friend, comrade and brother,
-Leshok Majere
