The waves of the chilling water crashed against the reef and banks around the small island, causing a mild mist to evaporate upwards towards the white washed stone of the castle that filled the island's mass. The air is cool, and damp to the touch, as it should be this close to the water. "You liked the water...didn't you..." Arakad reached up removing the mask that concealed his face, the glowing scars of glyphs upon his skin seem to snake with life across the surface. The normally dark gray eyes now softer, almost melting...almost.

The dark paladin gazed out from the wall of the castle, a statue of the spear wielding guardian staring back to him eye to eye, the flaming basin at the statues feet casting living shadows to fill its creases just enough to give a life-like color to the stone skin. The man's eye's twitched, turning to face the bronze and obsidian layout of the scene before him. The black stone walls and steps that led to the coffin, the reason. He hasn't looked over this scene in over a year now, but what brings him here now is perhaps the "legacy" Ceinwyn spoke of.

"What would you have been like today...would you change what you did if you had the option...You have haunted my life since the knowledge of the truth surfaced." Arakad leapt from the castle wall landing upon his left knee upon the obsidian stone, the right hand stretched out before him grasping the edge of the wall, the full posture that of an animal ready to pounce for the kill. "And now the only thing left to bring my own future down to your fate lies asleep in that bronze coffin."

The flickering flames of the memorial cast haunting shadows across the bronze layout, the emblem of chaos resting at the foot of the coffin the ankh that rested at the head, each a contradiction of the other. Sliding from the crouch upon the obsidian stone Arakad came to a stand upon the platform, his hands clenched to fists to his sides. "I will not let your curse..your life...ruin my own, and she will not have you to blackmail me any longer."

Walking the square of the hedges that surrounded the obsidian grave sight, he came to a stop at one of the memorial stands, his gloved hands reaching to brush across its foundation with unknown delicate ease as he read it's inscription "Let His Life And Death Remind Us That Evil Can Corrupt Even The Most Principled Souls." he couldn't help but let a rough erratic laugh come forward from under his breath, all he has heard of this man is the seriousness, and the chaotic nature. But even he would have a chuckle at this.

Turning, Arakad stepped to the center of the platform and gave a final look at the layout, the conflicting natures of Honor, Chivalry, and Chaos combined to give a over zealous outlook of grandeur to the darkness that lay hidden within the bronze and sealed coffin in its depths. "I will see you soon..." With a salute to the ankh, he turned, steping to the obsidian wall and leaping back to the castle wall making his walk towards the teleporter.
