Horace stood upon the battlements as he saw the "rescuers" shuttle citizens away from Cove. He began humming, as he paced the battlements, observing the fields, and then the houses, about half of which empty now. He held a small packet of flyers and began slipping them through the doors, gently, each one with the utmost care. He looked upon his sleeping hamlet and began mumbling under his breath, "One Nation, One People..." and he smiled as he spoke the next one firmly, "And One Leader." He marched up the hill to the tower, and slammed the door shut. Upon looking at one of the flyers it reads,
"The City of Cove is now officialy under the sanctioned control of House Telver. You are no longer citizens of the Regency, but the property of The Sanguine Oligarch, his grace, Horace Telver. The City of Cove is hereby renamed The Sanguine Oligarchy of Cove. Resistance to His Grace will be punished by crucifiction. The following laws will hereby be enforced.
1. Theft- Punishable by Severing of hand
2. Murder- Death by burning
3. Treason- Death by Crucifiction
4. Subversion- Siezure of property, loss of freedom, family sold into slavery.
The Sanguine Oligarchy retains the right to posess chattel.
Interference with this right is treason.
The Sanguine Oligarchy will brook no interference.
