Madness... Madness lurks within shadow close by to lash out at Azreal. Against common belief madness is patient.. enduring.. it waits for all that live long enough to catch its fancy. Thus it had struck once again, these fits of rage and tears Azreal was begaining to grow weaker against with each passing day.

What is a vampire to do in such times? Why seek those older and wiser.. attain the secrets to santiy that they horde in thier gloomy caves.

Azreal searched for the great father of his line and within a cave lied his fate and begaining. Within this cave dwelt evils of old, evil unresting and spirits of ancient times.

"I...I...", Azreal laughs in a fit of madness as he fights hard to retain his true self, "What.. must I do.."

The elders always know what the young seek for they all seek it in the end in this old cave and thus they replyed, "How simple a thing you ask of us.. how often must you ask it?" the voices in the deep replyed "Be reborn young Azreal.. be born anew in the joining of light and shadow"

Twas then the gate appeared, black and empty, a void of eternal nothingness which seemed to have no end or begaining.

What was there to lose? In death or with enlightenment this curse would be cured. Like a zombie Azreal moved towards the black gate until it enveloped and consumed him. Visions of past and present flooded his sences but with every couple images the symbol appears.. two circles joined together.

Like a nightmare and like being born these images were for thier was clerity and bitter truth within them, Azreal couldnt help but think of Nai's brillant form as he passed from one layer of shadow to another falling.. falling into oblivion. Fragments of voices filling his mind as one image faded into another, there he saw his life and now.. it was time for his birth..

The scene had not changed in the many years he had been away, it was always the same. Upon one side the lingering light of the cruel fated world and on the other.. Azreal.. Azreal and his undead horde.

Azreal stood as he always did dressed in his finest black cloth with a soft flowing hood covering his head. There in the battlefield a prince and his advisers look from a hill towards thier army in battle.

Azreal grined slightly and teleported to the stronghold of light to bring death and entropy to those within as he was destined to.

"Azreal... whats.. whats wrong with you.. im your father.. dont you recognize me?", the old king spoke clinging to the wall as if it would save him. "Yes.. of course I remember you.. father..", twas no hesitation or pause. He hand moved quickly slicing into the rulers flesh and as he departed he cursed the corpse into unholy life, that it may rise again."

Before long they were all dead.. save for one.. one special treat left for the would be hero to arrive.

Azreal waited and watched...

The young man had charged into the castle, his face cringing in horror and pain. In the hall he had put his father to rest.. in the ajoining chamber.. his trusted advisor.

It was now time...

The young man tryed so hard.. so very hard to enter his chambers to save his love... but I was there and thus tore the wench limb from limb as was my destiny to do.

Curses and tears filled the keep of the now dead and damned but in the last moment when all light had faded.. when the world would be consumed in darkness the pairs eyes met in a flah of lightning in the midnight sky.

In the last fading moments of life.. the young man wept as oblvion turned him and with his last breath he spoke, "It cant be..me?......"
