Almost to the edge of the town of Minoc Brianha realized she forgot to do the one thing she needed to do.. check her messages at the bank from Dageus.

Approaching the banker she nodded to him as he handed her a message. Opening the letter quickly as she was eager to hear of news from home she sighed as she read that her guild mates had been out searching for her. “It is time to go back home and begin anew”.

Deep in thought of how each in her guild had seemingly gone their separate ways and found new adventures alone, she devised a plan to bring them all back together again so that they may be ever grander than before.. so that they would once again be the guild family they had been… They needed a proper guild hall, and so that would for now be the passion in her life.

As she was walking she noticed a man seemingly confused or looking for something. She heard him say at one point “It has to be here somewhere”. Curious she walked over to him and asked if she might help him. It seemed he had lost a very special hat and needed to find it. Happy to help him find the hat they began to search the area. But as he turned from Bri she noticed that there was a hat dangling from behind him. Trying to contain her laugh she halted him and explained the hat was not lost.. it was on his back. Brianha quickly realized that he was innocent to much in the world.. no matter that he seemed to be the same age as herself.

After introductions she decided she needed a drink and he needed to be brought into the world with someone who would not take advantage of him. So she gated Asher and herself to the Freehold and hoped that no one there would be able to see through her disguise.

It was good to have a drink and enjoy the company of one who knew nothing of her… she had nothing to explain tonight…and she reveled in his innocence. She smiled for the first time in many months. She knew that once things were healed between her cousin and her that the two of them would have much fun opening his eyes to the world.
