It seems to be a form of prophecy. I think that "the lands shall fall" refers to the appearance of the new lands. "The black eyes burn" i have no doubt refer to Lord Mordain's eys of black. As to what "the lesson" is though i am clueless. There are many other references here that are hard to understand. I must study more in hopes to understand the meanings.
