First Lesson

A Government provides for the collective needs of the people.

What are the collective needs of the populace?

To feel safe. To be prosperous. To have opportunity.

How does a Government meet these needs?

If a Government relates to her people allowing also the people to relate to their Government; needs can be specifically determined, and the minds of leaders shall come together in creation of solutions.

What things must be considered when meeting the needs of the population?

Consider the dangers that must be faced in order to be impregnable. Consider what the people value in order to be prosperous. Consider amongst all things the desire of the people to achieve favorable circumstances.

What tempers a government's indulgence, quiescence, and corruption?

Three Principles, Eight Virtues.

I offer the people continuity in these Lectures forthcoming, that a Government can indeed fulfill he needs of her people; syncronizing governmental practices and policy with virtuous endeavors and substance.
