Title: Anti-Past

It is true that there was a time when world leadership was in the hands of those who would spin it towards a unforgivable acceptance of the non-human ideologies, the HoA on one side which held in its ranks orc and elven sinners and the Shadow Conclave which was littered with the disgusting masses minor races big and small. Though Sosaria has thankfully grown out of those times and continues to evolve towards its historical destiny the old elements remain and continue to hold onto important positions within the great Human founded societies.
The old influences which return to the realm on and off to cause a stir are a degrading factor upon those that have built new foundations. Though the return of enlightened human thinkers is a blessing the majority of the old ones seem to be concerned with personal power over the betterment of human culture as a whole. Such individuals cause a blight which removes more they can replace.
A progressive thinking institution is the Regency which has just shuffled its older senators and politicians out of positions of power effectively replacing them with new faces, fresh ideas. As the righteous path continues the current political orders with the Regency among them will evolve into newer forms on their own, an evolution which would be threatened by the placement of old minds within the administrative structure.
The past history of Sosaria is best forgotten, the times of HoA and the Conclave were a dark age of Sosarian culture. Do not believe those that would say otherwise. You are safe in the present, look to the future with open eyes, do not fear human destiny.
