The Guarded Rubrics.

Amongst the scholars of the Tal’mahe’Ra, nothing holds more importance than the Guarded Rubrics. Together these tomes list every ritual, rite and ancient practice of the Kindred. They are kept within the Shadow Library of Enoch, where none save the most trusted are permitted to view them.

Fragments of the Rubrics are said to date back thousands of years, and there are stone tablets that predate the age of Nizar. These stone tablets, dusty scrolls and ancient books are the subject of the Rawis studies, and their devotion. There is not one member of the lore-keepers that would not sacrifice all to protect the rituals within the Shadow Library.

The younger members of the Tal’mahe’Ra have whispered that the Wazirs possess further Rubrics which they have deemed not to share with the rest of the Kindred, suffice to say all those who suggest such a thing have seldom suggested anything ever again.

(The following rituals are for use by the True Hand only and unless otherwise noted, are to be conducted by a Wazir or Cabalist.)

The Black Embrace

"…behind the veil of death lay things that no man should e'er witness and live…"

- Sebastian Defoe, Philosopher

When a new member is inducted into the ranks of the Tal'mahe'Ra, the occasion is marked by a ceremony led by the Wazirs. This ceremony marks the passing of the mortal into the state of undeath as a member of the Tal'mahe'Ra.

The fledgling makes an oath of loyalty to Oblivion, the Order of the Ebon Skull and the Tal'mahe'Ra before the Wazirs, an oath that carries dire consequences should it be broken. The Wazir leading the ceremony will stand upon a specially prepared altar, and invite the fledgling to step into the designated spot.

When this is done, the Wazir shall ask Oblivion to find the fledgling worthy to receive the blessing of undeath, and offer the mortal's soul to the Vortex. In all cases the soul is removed from the body which slumps lifeless to the ground, if the soul is worthy then it is allowed to return to the material plane to serve Oblivion, if it is found lacking, then it is devoured by the Vortex and lost forever.

Should the soul be allowed to return, then the Wazirs use the power of Oblivion to restore it to life, in a new - but identical - body. Following this, the fledgling is fed the blood of the Wazirs, and bound to them before being embraced by their chosen clan.

[OOC Information on The Journey of Aseliik]

Items Needed -

Torches or candles to outline the ritual area.

A deadly poison potion.

Location - Any site where fire fields can be cast and cause damage to third persons (Felucca)

Time - After Sect Meetings or any time where activities are needed.

The ritual site is outlined with torches or candles, and possibly floored with colored cloth (either black or red), to represent a specially prepared and consecrated site. It should take the form of a three-by-three square, with a longer walkway running from the western most edge. The Wazirs stand on the eastern most edge facing west, while the fledgling stands on the western most tip of the 'walkway' facing the Wazirs.

When the Wazir begins the ceremony and asks the fledgling to step forward [1] they are told to make their pledge to serve Oblivion, the Order and the Sect [2] and are expected to know the oath by heart!

Once the oath is completed, the Wazir leading the ritual offers the soul of the fledgling to Oblivion in order to be judged [3]. Upon completing this, the initiate will drink the deadly potion to represent the soul being taken from the body by Oblivion. [4]

After a short while the spirit manifests, and is resurrected having obtained the grace of Oblivion [5]. The Wazirs then offer their blood to the fledgling, and bind him into the Tal'mahe'Ra. [6]. When this is complete, the chosen sire of the fledgling steps forward and embraces them before the Wazirs and any others in attendance. [7].

1 - "Step forth, fledgling, and prepare thyself for the judgment of Oblivion. Recite the oath of your loyalty, and pledge your unlife to the service of Oblivion, the Ebon skull, and the Tal'mahe'Ra.

2 - Fledgling: "I offer my soul to Oblivion, may it be judged worthy."

Fledgling: "I offer my sword to the Ebon Skull, may it be keened by its blessing."

Fledgling: "I offer my blood to the Tal'mahe'Ra, may I be permitted to spend eternity among them.

3 - "Oblivion, Master of All and of Nothing, I ask thee to look upon the soul of this, your servant, and judge whether he/she is worthy of thy blessing!"

4 - The soul is being ripped from the body by Oblivion, this would hurt. Make it clear.

5 - Wazir: "Oblivion has found thee worthy, fledgling, and you shall now commence your rebirth into death as his servant. Come, rejoin with the flesh that you leave behind."

6 - The Wazir or Wazirs cut their wrists with a dagger, and allow the blood to flow into the chalice.

Wazir: "With my blood shall you be reborn into death, with my blood shall you have eternity, and with my blood shall you arise."

All Wazirs in attendance will say this!

The fledgling then drinks from the chalice.

7 - Wazir: "Step forth, <name> of Clan <clan name> and grant this fledgling the skills, power and grace of the <clan name> for all time.

The clan member chosen as the sire, will then embrace the fledgling and the ritual shall be concluded.

The Vaulderie

"Everything is the deed, the glory? It is nothing, it is the deed!"

- Zemyaza, the Dark Father of Kindred.

Since the days that Semyaza held court over his children in the Dread Tower of Enoch, the Kindred of the Tal'mahe'Ra have taken part in this sacred ritual. It is revered amongst the kindred perhaps more than any other of their many rituals, as it is still carried out exactly as it was during the Age of Stygia.

The Vaulderie consists of every member of the Tal'mahe'Ra drinking the blood of the Sect's leader, from the Crimson Chalice. The Chalice is said to have contained the blood of the Dark Father during the nights of Stygia, and is the holiest artifact that the present day Tal'mahe'Ra possess.

Once the leader of the Vaulderie has slit their wrist into the Chalice it is passed around the table, and each member drinks from it, thus binding themselves to their leader, and each other.

[OOC Information on the Vaulderie]

Items Needed -

The Crimson Chalice - a rose chapagne flute.

Location - The Meeting room within the Dread Tower of Enoch.

Time - After the weekly sect meetings.

This ritual is performed after every Sect meeting. It is intended to create a common bond amongst the Sect, and all members without exception are expected to take part. Members of the Tal'mahe'Ra who reside within SES are also allowed and encouraged to partake in this ritual.

Before drinking from the Chalice, each member shall acknowledge their oaths and loyalty to the Sect by repeating the words of the Vaulderie;

"For the Sect. For my Family."

The Chalice is the holiest artifact of the the Tal'mahe'Ra, and should be regarded with a sense of awe and respect. After all, it contained the blood of the vampire from who we are all descended!

The Dance Macabre

This ritual is as old as the Tal'mahe'Ra itself, kindred scholars often assume that its origins lay in one of the death cults of ancient Sosaria. Stone tablets showing engravings of this ritual have been unearthed in the Dungeon Khaldun, and more recently it is said that a similar tablet has been recovered from Illshenar.

Whenever a vampire rises from the lowly ranks of the initiates into the Tal'mahe'Ra proper, this ritual is performed.

To symbolize the ascension of the chatterling into the state of undeath all vampires of the Tal'mahe'Ra undertake in a festival of sorts, known as the 'Danse Macabre'.

During this ritual all vampire present assume the forms of wraiths of the underworld - to represent the death that the initiate will undergo. Thick black cloaks and porcelain masks showing stylized images of the dead are donned, and several mortals are chained within the room to serve as a mockery of 'ale barrels', for all of the vampires present shall drink from these poor souls.

The culmination of the ritual is the chatterling having their throat slit by the Del'Roh, and left to bleed to death within a ritual circle. When the body has died, the Del'Roh revives the chatterling with their ancient vitae, and they begin their unlife amongst the ranks of the Tal'mahe'Ra.

Several engravings show the Del'Roh wearing a blood red ritual mask carved in the visage of a grinning skull, none who have attempted to discover this have returned alive.

[OOC Information on the Danse Macabre]

Items Needed -

Black robes and boots for all OES

White robes and boots for all SES

A Shadow Iron Dagger

A healing potion for each SES

Time - Friday / Saturday Nights (or any time when the greatest number of Wazirs can be online).

Location - The Well of Souls (Until Enoch is completed).

The Danse Macabre is the ritual to mark the vampire ascending from the SES stone to the OES stone, and taking a step towards - or into - undeath.

This ritual will take place whenever there are enough recruits to warrant it - it will not be performed for one recruit. In addition it shall not be performed more than once a week. It can be performed for any number of recruits.

The atmosphere that this event is meant to create is one of a family celebration; the recruits are welcomed into the family of the Tal'mahe'Ra and embraced (not literally!) by their new brothers and sisters.

For the event the members of OES who are present will dress in true black robes, boots and the darkest leather gloves available. In addition to this everyone must wear either a bone-helm or a gray tribal masks. The Del'Roh shall wear a Daemon Bone helm to represent their authority.

The SES who are being promoted shall dress in white robes, and boots with the lightest gray leather gloves. This represents their "innocence" and position as children amongst the Tal'mahe'Ra.

The Fire Dance

"…lo the flames leapt around the woman, yet she flinched not and her walk continued … it seemeth as though she were made of the very stone of earth itself!"

- Ghoul Chronicler of the Tal'mahe'Ra

Members of the Tal'mahe'Ra are known for their mental discipline and ability to conquer the fears that plague them in undeath. The greatest fear of all Kindred is almost inevitably that of fire, for it causes them great harm and can bring about the final death with relative ease.

The Tal'mahe'Ra has ritually tested its members on their ability to come face-to-face and conquer their fears and deal with pain for centuries. The Fire Dance is a ritual that has been passed down from generation to generation since the conception of the Black Hand.

[OOC Information on the Fire Dance]

Items Needed -

Healing Potions to represent the blood vials

Mages to cast Fire Field

Location - Any site where fire fields can be cast and cause damage to third persons (Felucca)

Time - After Sect Meetings or any time where activities are needed.

Mages within the Tal'mahe'Ra cast two fire fields that are connected at one end, therefore creating one long fire field. Those who are undertaking in the fire dance walk the length of the fire fields, pausing in the middle to salute the Wazirs, and then continuing the route.

They must walk, and all those present at the ceremony punish anyone running or leaving the fire field at any time during the ritual with a severe beating.

The firewalkers are bare-chested, and bare-footed for the length of the ritual, so as to inflict as much pain as possible. No armor of any sort is allowed, nor are magical items that offer protection.

Upon completion of the dance, the firewalkers are given a vial of blood that contains the blood of all three Wazirs that restores their health, and reaffirms their bond to the leaders.

The Wild Hunt

"…as the sun sank beneath the waves, the moon rose to claim her prize, the followers of Zemyaza came forth, and Stygia stopped in terror…"

- From the Journals of an unknown Necromancer

When Stygia was still in existence and the Dark Lord Nizar ruled over his Empire, Zemyaza the Dark Father of all Kindred was himself young. Yet in his youth his control of the beast within was weak, and Nizar realized this.

So it was that Zemyaza was granted the leave of Nizar to release the beast within once every year. On this night Zemyaza and his children would roam the streets of Stygia possessed by the beast, slaying any who they met; be they friend, foe or otherwise…

Citizens of Stygia came to call this one night "Blood Night", whiles to those of the Tal'mahe'Ra it became known as the Wild Hunt.

[OOC Information on the Wild Hunt]

Items Needed -

Any PvP supplies

The ability to resurrect anyone slain

Bags and bags of responsibility

Location - The City of Caina.

Time - No more than once per year, perhaps Samhain or another pagan festival?

All members of the Tal'mahe'Ra from the Del'Roh to the Chatterlings engage in this activity. It is the night when all members of the Sect give into the Beast and truly revel in their nature as the highest of all predators.

They take to the streets of Caina and slay anyone they come across, including guild mates. The Kindred lose control on this night, and with it their ability to distinguish between friend and foe - all they know is the lust for blood.

Evidently this event will not be overly popular with other members of OES, so a prior warning should be given before the event. The Kindred will meet, and the Del'Roh shall call the hunt, and then the carnage begins!

The atmosphere of this hunt is one of chaos, the Kindred lose control, and work as a raving mob throughout the streets of Caina, sating their first. The Wild Hunt is truly wild, with all laws, customs and loyalties outside of the sect being forgotten.

Note - To maintain good relations there will be no looting of any sort during this event. There is no reason to even look on anyone else's corpses.

Also, immediate resurrection should be performed if possible. Those who wear deathrobes will be immune to the activities so long as they remain neutral.

The Anele of Purification

"…for only in the blood of the strongest shall the weakest find their strength…"

- Ancient Sosarian Proverb

Members of the Tal'mahe'Ra who are about to undergo a trial, quest or test of faith are sometimes anointed with the vitae of one (or more) of the Wazirs.

They are anointed with the blood in the hope that it will grant them the strength and courage they need in order to succeed their task. Such an event is a mark of respect, and is only given to those who are about to embark upon the most extreme or pressing endeavors.

[OOC Information on the Anele of Purification]

Items Needed -

A shadow dagger (optional)

Location - Any site where the ritual can be role-played.

Time - Whenever it is deemed necessary.

Before a member undertakes a quest for promotion, or a personal quest, the Wazirs should (in character) offer them this ritual as a mark of respect and brotherhood.

The Wazir or Wazirs performing the ritual cut open their thumb with the shadow dagger, and anoint the forehead 1 of the questing member. If a shadow dagger is not available, then any bladed weapon or even fangs can be used. Any symbol 2 can be drawn or none at all, it is at the discretion of the Wazir leading the ritual.

This is a short ritual not meant to be complex in any way.

Script:

1 "May my blood offer you strength to overcome your enemies, the wisdom to master yourself and the courage to emerge victorious."

2 "With this sigil I grant you my grace, and the grace of Zemazeya, may your victory be the envy of all childer, and the pride of all elders."

3 Upon completion the initiate should bow or salute the Wazir.

The Journey of Aseliik

"And when he returned from the world of fire, his skin was blackened by smoke and flame, his hair was singed and he bore the mortal wounds of the living flame - yet in his eyes shone the strength of Zemyaza!"

- The Journal of Ibn Marcot

Aseliik was originally a member of one of the ghoul families that served the Tal'mahe'Ra during the rule of Zemyaza, whilst he had the longevity of all ghouls, he sought more. He was a mighty warrior, and after one particularly successful victory, Aseliik approached Zemyaza himself and requested that as reward for his centuries of service, he be embraced.

Zemyaza was impressed by the guile of his servant, yet he jealously guarded the power his blood could give. He decided to test Aseliik;

"Aseliik, ye must go forth into the pits of the earth, to where the fires of the daemons burn as fiercely as the sun in the sky! Thou shalt walk through the infernal pits with nothing but thine courage and thine craftiness! For thou hast already proven thine martial skills to me!"

So stripped of all his armor and belongings, with only the simplest of weapons at his side, Aseliik descended into the fires below the earth. For days he was missing, and none expected his return. Yet on the fifth day Aseliik emerged from the pit, battered, bruised and burnt, yet alive.

As a reward for his survival Zemyaza embraced the ghoul fully, and made him a member of the Kindred.

[OOC Information on The Journey of Aseliik]

Items Needed -

A weapon of the travelers choice

Someone to snoop their pack

Trust that they shall not cheat!

Location - The Fire Dungeon, either the Serpents Hold or the Lost Lands Entrances.

Time - When required.

The journey of Aseliik is a recreation of his journey through the Pit at the bequest of Zemyaza. It is a difficult quest to complete successfully, and very few will be expected to do so.

However, those who do successfully complete the journey will be rewarded with an instant promotion in rank, and a full suit of armor crafted by Oblivions Hand

Only those who play warriors should undertake this quest, as that was the occupation of Aseliik, though other classes are welcomed to try - and rewards shall be tailored to suit.

Before the quest is undertaken the journeyman shall be stripped of all their armor, and left with only long pants (or equivalent) and their footwear. Their packs shall be snooped to make sure that they are empty. When they are ready to begin they may take one weapon of their choice, and up to 20 bandages. No other equipment is allowed.

Recalling, gating and riding are all prohibited during this quest. The journey lasts from when they enter the entrance of the fire dungeon in Serpents Hold, until they concede defeat or exit victorious in the Lost Lands. No help is permitted, they must travel alone. A trusted member of the Tal'mahe'Ra will 'ghost' the quester to ensure there is no foul play.

This quest is only ever performed by those who wish to undergo it, or have been ordered to do so by the Wazirs. Whilst the rewards are high, the risk of failure is equally so.

The Anele of Purification is almost invariably performed before this quest, and ritual sacrifices are also common.

The Ritual Sacrifices

"…to his God, any man would gladly give his only begotten Son."

- T.Mrest, "Of Deities within Sosaria"

Unsurprisingly for an organization that can trace its roots back to mortal death cults, ritual sacrifices are commonplace within the Tal'mahe'Ra.

Most often these sacrifices are dedicated to Oblivion, Zemyaza or Lilith, depending upon the Kindred's personal beliefs. The form the sacrifice takes often varies, but all usually involve the offering of either vitae of mortal unto the one the ritual is dedicated to.

The Kindred places their offering be it vitae, a mortal heart of some other item within a ceremonial brazier, and chants to the being to which the sacrifice is made. It is not unusual for mortals to be killed either within magical circles or sacred places, and the body and soul offered to Oblivion.

All kindred have been given leave by the Wazirs to undertake these rituals, and even lead them for others. Rumor has it that the Rawis watch any who show an affinity for this, and will offer them admission into their secretive cult.

[OOC Information on Ritual Sacrifices]

Items Needed -

Whatever is required.

Location - Anywhere that fits the 'mood'.

Time - Whenever required.

All Kindred should try and engage in a personal sacrifice at least once per week, the form, activity and methods can vary as you wish.

Whenever there are a number of Tal'mahe'Ra members hanging about, this is an alternative to the group going hunting - an activity to serve as a distraction.

Those who regularly take it upon themselves to lead sacrifices for other members will be rewarded for their efforts…

The Passage of Shadows

"To pass from the world of the living to the realm of the dead, and then to return to life … that is true power, that is my desire!"

- Abdulla Rashid

The Tal'mahe'Ra has known of this ritual since its earliest nights as a mortal death cult. It was commonly used by the Qadi and the Nephilim of the Sect to infiltrate the strongholds of their enemies, or to spy on suspected traitors.

When this ritual is invoked the caster leaves their physical body and takes on the appearance and abilities of the Wraiths that inhabit the netherworld.

In Wraith-Form the kindred can go anywhere, and see anything yet remain invisible to the mortal world - and indeed that of the Kindred - until they so choose to manifest.

Perhaps more tales and legends exist around this ritual than any of the others, for it is claimed that one of the first Del'Roh's of the Tal'mahe'Ra became trapped forever in the Shadowlands before meeting his death at the hands of a Wraith Lord. The Rawis deny such suggestions, but still they persist.

Many stories exist of the Wazirs using this ritual to keep check on their underlings, and appearing at the exact moment that an act of treachery was committed. Safe to say that swift and brutal justice followed quickly behind…

[OOC Information on the Passage of Shadows]

Items Needed -

A Shadow Dagger

A Tribal Mask (Grey/Zog)

A Deadly Poison Potion

Location - Anywhere suitable.

Time - Whenever needed.

Who - Only those chosen by the Wazirs may perform this ritual.

This ritual is only entrusted to the most loyal Kindred within the Tal'mahe'Ra, as a mark of trust and also as a way to further the wishes of the Wazirs. In effect, it allows the Kindred to cross the barrier between the netherworld and the mortal world - to become a wraith.

It is most often used in espionage missions, to uncover some treacherous plot or to spy upon enemies of the Tal'mahe'Ra.

The caster begins the ritual by putting on the Mask of the Dead [tribal mask] and speaking words of power (1) to activate the mask. After the mask has been attuned to the wearer, the leading Wazir anoints the subject of the ritual with their blood (2). The Wazir often daubs a wound over the heart of the kindred undergoing the Passage of Shadows. The next stage is for the participant to drive the shadow dagger (3) through their heart, and symbolise the passing between worlds. The essence of the netherworld pours into the vampire at this point (4) [symbolised by drinking the poison potion] until the soul is torn from the mortal body.

At this point the Kindred is free to traverse the realm of the dead at their leisure, whilst the mortal body is left comatose and immobile within the world of the living.

Resurrections after the vampire has completed their task or duty within the Shadowlands are as normal, and can be performed by anyone with the ability to do so - though most often the Wazir who anointed the vampire in the ritual would also restore them to life.

Notes on the Netherworld - The Netherworld is inhabited by many beings of a far darker nature than the Kindred. Wraiths, Entropic Elementals and creatures of the shadow all stalk this plane, and travelling to their domain is no light task.

It should be role-played that the risk of falling prey to these creatures is ever present, and in doing so the vampires soul is consumed by the Vortex.

Script -

1 "The barriers of life and death are open to those who know the passage ways of old, let this mask be my eyes, and guide me through the realm of the Netherkin."

2 "With my blood I empower you safe passage through the realm of the Netherkin, let loyalty be your guide and your beacon."

3 "Deliver me into the arms of Oblivion!"

4 - This is painful, play on it.

The Initiation of Blood

"You will fight, and you will die. You will die, and you will be reborn. You will be reborn and die. Detecting a pattern?"

- An Anonymous Blood Harvester

Induction to the cult of the Blood Harvesters is no small matter, not only does a Kindred have to be possessed with a love of violence surpassing that of an elder Daemon, but must also prove that they are worthy.

The Harvesters are famed amongst Kindred society for the barbaric acts they commit, and the seemingly horrific practices they venerate. The Initiation of Blood is one the most well known rituals unique to the cult, and is as brutal as one would expect.

When the Harvesters come across a promising recruit, they offer them the chance to enter the Cult. Those who refused are flayed on the spot, whilst those who accept undertake the Initiation.

The initiate fights in a pitched battle against a full member of the pack, as chosen by the leader. There are no rules to this fight, and poison, magic, potions and various other means of gaining the upper hand are not only permitted, but expected.

Should the Initiate beat their opponent then they enter the Harvesters as a full member. Should the lose, then they undergo a period of tutelage and apprenticeship, serving under their former opponent.

[OOC Information on The Initiation of Blood]

Items Needed -

Whatever PvP supplies are needed

Items to make the 'arena'

Location - Anywhere that the two parties can duel without interruption.

Time - When a new recruit or established Kindred wishes to join the Harvesters.

The 'arena' constructed of a circle of candles, lanterns or straw bales should be large enough to allow a decent fight, but not so large as to make the fight last indefinitely. The onlookers are forbidden from entering the arena whilst the duel is still underway, the punishment for doing so is a brutal beating from the other onlookers.

The duel should be a brutal event, with the onlookers baying for blood - regardless of whom it flows from. Both the initiate and the defender should fight to win, regardless of the cost.

When the duel is concluded, and one of the fighters lay dead, they are resurrected and given a pure white robe to wear until sunrise the next morning. This is a form of humiliation, with white representing innocence - a trait not known to the Harvesters.

Should the initiate lose, then they are paired with the one who defeated them, who will tutor them in the arts of PvP, and the Cult of the Blood Harvesters. Should the initiate win, then they are granted full membership of the Cult, and assumed to have no need of further tutelage.

The Ritual of Binding

"You live in my debt, in my servitude and by my grace. Forget any of those three things, and you shall die."

- Zemyaza.

On the rare occasions that a member of the Kindred betrays the Tal'mahe'Ra, the guilty party is usually rewarded with a swift death, or a slow lingering demise at the hands of the Qadi.

On exceptionally rare occasions though, the Del'Roh may wish to keep a member of the Sect within her ranks, despite their treachery. It is for these occasions that the Ritual of Binding was created.

[OOC Information on the Ritual of Binding]

Items Needed -

A Blank Recall Rune

Someone with the ability to mark runes

A Shadow Dagger

A Deadly Poison Potion

Location - Anywhere suitable.

Time - Whenever needed.

Who - The Wazirs only.

The Ritual of Binding is quite literally just that, the victim's soul is bound to a gemstone. With the soul bound, the treacherous vampire has no choice but to obey the one whom holds the stone, for they have the ability to cause final death to the bound victim.

To be bound by this ritual is one of the greatest humiliations a vampire can ever endure, for it enforces upon them a life of servitude and absolute loyalty.

The traitor is secured naked within a ceremonial pentagram, where the Wazir performing the ritual proceeds to make a multitude of shallow incisions in the arms, legs and chest of the victim (1). The blood is left to run into the pentagram as an offering to Oblivion - in effect it is a living sacrifice.

When this is complete, the Wazir places the gemstone [recall rune] at the tip of the pentacle (2), and drives the Shadow Dagger through the heart of the victim (3). If performed correctly Oblivion will enter the traitor's body and force the soul from its physical shell [represented by drinking the deadly poison]. (4)

When this is complete the soul is transferred to the stone, and can be taken5 and used for whatever purpose the Wazir so wished; though it is usually kept as a constant enforcer of the traitors future loyalty.

The rune should be marked as 'a gemstone' and once the ritual is complete the markings should be changed to 'Soul of _____' .

Script -

1 "With these scars shall you bear the mark of the traitor for all time. With your blood you shall beg upon the altar for forgiveness. With your deceit the favour of Oblivion fall from your grasp.

2 "With this rune shall the wrath of Oblivion be quieted, and your position as His slave assured."

3 "Look, traitor, upon the Realm of Oblivion and know what waits for you should you betray our kind again!"

4 Again, this hurts, make that clear.

5 "With your soul I shall assure your servitude and loyalty, by the grace of Oblivion you are granted unlife, and by His wrath you shall live it as a slave."
